It's too hot :(

I've just got off the phone with a global weather expert from Albuquerque, he said that August will have a record breaking 55-60 heatwave coming directly from the equator, teleporting itself via a Gijuainy cloud system and will magically appear directly over my house for 6 and a half weeks apparently.

Lies :p

Yet it’s a lot hotter than last year when 1600 people died because of the heat.

Yeah, just a bit of warm weather
Do you have a source for that figure, as the ONS have not release any data for 2021 yet. And did any of these 1600 deaths also be linked to Covid, as a lot of the deaths were last year ?

Ours is never fully off.

Every room has its own smart TRV though with different temperatures set for different times of the day so none of them will be calling for heat any time soon
Same as mine and the system knows the weather forecast so uses that to an extent to work out if the heating needs to be on.
Even though rooms are set to 18c even if it drops below that it won't come on because the difference between the set temperature and the outdoor temperature isn't big enough.

I stopped using the BBC for weather years ago when it was wrong on a daily basis. I only use the met office now.
Yeah the BBC cheaped out a few years ago and ditched the Metoffice for their weather forecasting. It’s useless here now as they basically just copy the Aberdeen weather report.

I'm seeing a good 3-4ºC difference for Liverpool on Monday between various weather apps. Although they're all above 30ºC so I'm just hoping the trains are fine :p
