It's too hot :(

I have been left scratching my head @cainer and @Delvis as my hearing (tinnitus) has been playing up! Reassuring its not just me.

Probably a degree of dehydration to it. Apparently anything which causes tension in the jaw muscles, etc. can make tinnitus worse though don't know if there is a heat, humidity or even pressure related mechanism to that - often with this kind of weather in the UK we are under high pressure.

Thanks @Rroff, really appreciated, that could explain as it has kicked off for the last month.

I have had some degree of success trying to manage but comes back with a vengeance now and again. Today isn't a good day. Dehydration is a good shout.

You don't have a fan going close to you do you? I get a tinnitus like effect at random after having a big fan going for a few hours near me - especially if I switch it off and then straight away lie down in bed when it is very quiet.

I’m really hoping for the mother of all thunderstorms. Although I do feel bad for dogs during thunderstorms. Doesn’t bother our dopey little git at all

When, october? Theres no rain on the horizon whatsoever and no significant rain expected before mid september apparently not around here at anyrate. Just watched the local news the fire brigades are gearing up for expected grassland and crop fires over the coming week

We've got some forecast for Monday... how accurate that will be is anyone's guess.

Tuesday to Thursday following week is forecast as light rain here - looks moderately wet. We seem to be constantly flirting with it seriously drying out here but just about avoiding it.

Last few Augusts haven't been too hot for us up north if I remember correctly, kind of got it into my head that summer had shifted a bit and second half of august was more like the beginning of Septembers weather we used to get, but these temps are insane and no break in sight on the forecast just back to back extremely hot days. Think we might have to totally build our houses from scratch if the future is each year going to be like this, most homes are just not built for hot climates.

Jesus thats awful, don't know the extreme dangers and quite easily can get out of hand and kill people.
Yup, there is one group of teenagers that have been causing issues locally for some time, the police keep saying they'll send out patrols but it never seems to happen.
