Not to make you jealous but the heat just disappeared from Liverpool today 24ºC at 11:00 but it's now down to 19ºC, so all windows open and all rooms below 21ºC now.

Yeah the west has very different weather patterns in summer. More to my liking.

Not too hot today, been overcast all day and a bit of rain. Indoors has cooled to a much more reasonable 22.4C. It was 25C at 8pm last night.

Room temp got down to 23C at 6am. Even yesterday though when it persisted at near 26C, the air was fresh so it was fairly pleasant.

As a motorcyclist, DRY weather is much preferred. It doesn't need to be hot, and sitting at junctions, traffic lights etc when it's hot is no fun at all.

Woke up to a really pleasant room temp a little over 21C, and was great up until around 3pm, then a sudden rush of heat. 3.5C increase since then.

My outside temp reading is 26C.

Weather this weekend looks absolutely horrific. Friday 26C, Saturday 25C, Sunday 23C, all very humid looks like it could be a last hurrah though as the daily high is down to 15C the following Thursday.

The last dying breath of a lacklustre summer. That makes two in a row. This year has been particularly bad if you've been trying to grow anything in the garden.
