J Connor is Back!

I think it could be good, dosnt look like its follwing the same theme as the last 3 (Terminator transported back in time) so its a good time for them to reinvent the series.

Should be interesting anyway.

$200million budget according to wikipedia... With a not so great cast of actors, that equals a whole lot of stuff getting blown up.

T3 is the best of the trilogy imo and I know I'm well in the minority on this too so cant wait, although wasnt bothered about the SC Chronicles though, the final 5 mins of T3 is simply one of the best endings to any film I've ever seen

I don't think Bale would have put his name down for this unless he believed in it, look promising ;)

How old are you 12?

LOL Knew that number would be assumed, nah grew up with T1 and T2, T2 was one of my fav films on first release, just really really enjoy T3 it's underated big time, and the ending is sublime, its better paced than the other 2, the guy who plays young john connor is awesome also

I enjoyed T3 aswell. So much so that I have watched it the most out of all 3 ashamedly.

I still think T2 is the best, and T1 just hasn't aged well at all and I find it difficult to sit through it now.

I did quite enjoy T3 on it's own merits, but as a part of the Terminator universe it just doesn't compare. Agree on T2 being the best (it's still my number one movie full stop) and while the sfx in T1 have aged terribly, the movie itself is still highly watchable for me. T1 doesn't fall that far behing T2 imo, which says it all given how highly I regard T2.

I thought t3 was fantastic, this movie will be awesome. !

Couldn't agree more - I'm a huge fan of the Terminator movies.

Gotta wait till next summer before this one comes out tho - hopefully my Sarah Conner Chronicles Blu Ray Boxset will be arriving soon and will keep me content until then? ;)

Article in this months SFX about it. Might be good depending on what story they do. I'm sure its set in the future but before T800 terminators (though no doubt they will have a T800 produced part way through to bit the big baddy!). They said they dont class it as T4 but I guess it's part of the Terminator universe.

For me the Terminator is class. I liked T2 big bucks cinema film. T3 was okay - I kinda like the very end bit of the storyline but very cheesy movie.

The whole film is cheesy, the pink glasses 5 minutes in tell you all you need to know about how seriously you should take T3.

I'll go into T4 with an open mind, it could quite easily be a good standalone film. But no matter how good it is, I could only ever see it on par with fan fiction (at the most).

I did hear some interesting things about the story though, mainly the idea that Connor would die but the resistance knew he would have to be seen to be alive, as a result a Terminator would take the role of Connor. Apparently the idea was scrapped due to the potential backlash from fans.

The Terminator (no number), is the best film of all time. End of.

T2 was ruined by a spoilt child.

I agree that T1 was better than T2 but I think we may be alone on this. The CGI of T2 makes most people think it's better, when in fact, T1 was better because it created the original story and concept. Don't get me wrong, its up there with Aliens and The Empire Strikes Back as the best sequels of all time. I have watched it more times than I care to admit to.

I've been watching the The Sarah Connor Chronicles and I as much as I wanted to hate it I found it good, dont know how this film will fit in wih that story as it fills in some holes that the other 3 films miss out on but not sure if the writers are connected to the films
