In old terms, an inside left/right. Very close to a winger. I certainly wouldn't call him a striker anyway.

We'll see anyway, but I don't expect him to be a major goalscoring presence at Liverpool.

Skysports.com understands Liverpool also approached Manchester City for Micah Richards and were prepared to go up to £20million for the defender. City rejected the Reds' approach.
