I didn't try to convince anyone, i was just saying what a good player he is and how people on here don't rate him are wrong in my opinion. If i was trying to convince you i would be posting pages of stats and facts?

For what it's worth, while I don't think Rooney is as good as some think, I'd certainly say he's better than Balotelli and I can't stand Rooney.

No, but when you want to try and appear like you at least know what you are talking about to some degree, calling Rooney 'average' just doesn't help your cause. No better than Balotelli as well, a still relatively unproven player? Ridiculous bias.

Overrated (as an opinion), sure, but not average. Big difference.
