uncanny resemblance.

What!?

Have Tottenham just cloned Bale?

Edit: Although he sort of looks like a mix of Bale and Torres there.

Welbeck was absolutely terrible against West Brom, his movement off the ball was very very poor seemed to get a bit bullied whether on the wing or through the middle, on top of that his finishing and final ball need a lot of work even when he’s playing well.

Is there any news on Nani? I know Fergie says he's got a future but its certainly not as a Premier League footballer, the raw that went up when he got taken off against West Ham was extraordinary, it got a bigger cheer than the goal.

Currently looks like he is SAf's favourite son, but you never know Utd may sell him with a 50% sell on clause inserted like the centre back (Garay?) from Porto that Utd are trying to buy in the summer - if reports are to be believed of course. Real Madrid are owed 1/2 of any transfer fee so Porto are trying to drive the figure nearer £25m from the £13m Utd have currently offered

£10m + add-ons for Zaha? pfftt not sure its worth it, but either way it will be interesting to see how he develops

It'll be interesting to see how he fares. He's got a big ego at the moment and I can't see that lasting.

The only time I think I've ever seen Zaha was against us in the Carling Cup (which feels like years ago but was only actually just over 1 year ago) and the only memory I have from that game was that Palace's winning goal was offside so that aint a great sign regarding the player, having said that I read this morning he's only 20 so he's obviously been about for a while which could be a testament of his potential.... I'll withhold judgement until I see him out there playing but I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a dodgy feeling about this

One would expect this be yet another nail in the coffin that is Nani's Man Utd tenure which aint going to help matters should this all go badly

Understand #LFC's new offer for Coutinho is 9million Euros (£7.6million). Club still confident the deal will be done.

Southampton have apparently offered 10 million but the player doesn't want to move to St Marys.

Is he better than tarrabt or Ben arfa?

Ben Arfa not a chance, Zaha doesn't have the skill on the ball (yet) the running that confuses defences or general shooting game, Tarrabt is a more developed player but has an even worse attitude when Zaha still has his youthful work rate...

In theory he could become better than both but realistically a move to United to be on the bench a lot (once his loan back to Palace is up) will stunt his development badly. Plus he needs forcing into either being the quick striker or winger to sort out his game, the ambiguity between the two roles means his crossing is naff and his finishing is inconsistent.

On the one hand can't blame him, Southampton isn't the nicest place to be for long periods of time, on the other hand this guy seems to be running mostly on agent talk to get Liverpool to actually bid a proper amount for him. It's not very clear how or why we are interested in him when we have had plenty of pulling power on random signings recently...
