January Transfer Window 2012/2013 Season Rumours/Signings

Just hope Grayson doesn't come back to Leeds. Far rather have Adkins.

Kebe has pace and strength and is playing well.

Is it a shock? He handled himself very well through getting the sack, he was getting the Saints playing football, he was getting results, he had two promotions with them, he's not senile...

Ben Arfa not a chance, Zaha doesn't have the skill on the ball (yet) the running that confuses defences or general shooting game, Tarrabt is a more developed player but has an even worse attitude when Zaha still has his youthful work rate...

tbh, I think Taraabt's reputation as a troublemaker is a bit of a myth.

Zaha right, Welbeck left, RvP doing all the meaningful stuff up front :p

Where does rooney fit into this!

I think fergie has got it right to loan him back for rest of the season,
Let him calm down abit.

Im sure after he got picked for the england friendly he went to pot for a while at palace.

Newcastle's team chemistry is going to be stuck at 99, they're going to have to get rid of Pardew and find a French manager.

Bit of a french revolution up there in Newcastle, most of their team must now be french??:p

Still nothing i see on Arsenal, probably leave it till the last minute like we have done in the past...just hope if we do business this window then we will be getting a decent or a couple of decent players in. But the chances of that happening are getting very slim, should have signed up Llorente but hes gone to Juve for 4 yrs or so...heard he wasnt that expensive either :/

Looking forward to seeing Sissoko in the Prem. Sissoko---Cabaye----Tiote looks like a very good midfield.

There defence is shaping up as well, if Coloccini stays on paper they have a solid looking defence.

Moussa Sissoko is a beast. something Newcastle lack bit of strength and height in the middle. Yaya type player hope he hits the ground running

Unless we sign a couple of Mega stars anything we pick up now is going to be hugely disappointing.

After yesterdays game and adding a couple of mega stars it would have carried us til the end of the season on a high

On the one hand can't blame him, Southampton isn't the nicest place to be for long periods of time, on the other hand this guy seems to be running mostly on agent talk to get Liverpool to actually bid a proper amount for him. It's not very clear how or why we are interested in him when we have had plenty of pulling power on random signings recently...

There are a lot worse places to be than Southampton imo (and not just because I was born around that area)......without even considering that most of EPL players will be living in the countryside somewhere , rather than the city centre most likely.

Looking like Coloccini is going to walk out to me, and with them constantly banging on about really bad personal problems, my guess is, considering they keep talking about having him in the same place as his father, a close family member is likely dying and in which case, well, how do you pay transfer fee's for players and then deny them the right to quit, its a bit daft really, there should be some kind of system in place, arbitration that takes a look at the players finances and comes up with some level of repaying the club.

Of course, it could be a Sol Campbell type situation where he's just decided to screw everyone for more money and a huge signing bonus at some other club. I could also have missed something but unlike with Tevez/others they haven't said, marraige fell apart, misses his kids, homesick, its always "bad personal problems" + going back to where his family lives.

Newcastle had a not bad squad before, they needed a striker before Ba left, they're behind where they were unless the new guy is better than Ba, which is unlikely. What they needed was everyone back from injury and some consistency and they can lose a couple goals upfront if they can sort out the defence, which with two new highly rated defenders, could be somewhat done.

Often the issue is even with a team of players who can perform, look at West ham the year before they got relegated(or maybe the one before that), same team give or take, but uninjured playing well, had form, absolutely destroyed by injury and even when they got back, there was no form, they'd lost all confidence, playing a completely different way. A few new players to help with form and confidence can probably get the rest of the players back to form as well. Fairly good timing to get new players and injured players back at similar time so they can all gel together. Arfa's back from injury soon as well isn't he?

If Coloccini goes though they need another CB, and a new CB partnership can take time to gel.

So looks like AC have pulled out of the Balotelli deal.

Khaldoon after the Tevez saga;
“If they want to be a consideration in this transfer window they would do better to stop congratulating one another and begin to look at how they would meet our terms.”

Looks like this applies again.
