I'm thinking similar, he'll be at Everton in a few years.
Unless it becomes painfully obviously from the start that he's another Bebe it's important that people realise he won't even be 21 by the time he signs for us, probably going to take till he's at least 23/24 before we're looking at a finished article
I'm still in shock that Zaha has been attracting top of the table attention. He was pretty much marked out of the game by Ian Harte last season at the Reading game, lost his head, got in a strop and did pretty much nothing all game (although he did score, even if it was a rubbish goal). Definitely did not look anywhere near good enough at that time.
Add me to list of people not impressed by Zaha. I just don't see it at all, sure he's young and will improve, but I've yet to see anything (and I've not seen that much of him to be fair) that would lead me to believe his potential is particularly high.
I couldn't remember it very clearly/may not have watched it properly.
I've re-watched highlights of our game vs Crystal Palace (so he's up against half decent opposition) and he did very well there, left the defenders for dead and ran rings around us.
You talking about the clip the club have just put up on the website? If so there wasn't enough techno music for my liking, the club's Youtube skills fail

You could post a video of welbeck running from the half way line into their box, just edit the bit out where he falls over and kicks the ball off the pitch and you have the worlds greatest prospect!

Got to say, 15 million for a kid with 2 tricks isn't particularly exciting news. His finishing looks abysmal.
Whether he comes good or not is another thing, for instance, Nick Powell looks a **** load better than that lad does currently and he's younger. (I know different positions, but I'm talking of buying quality 'english' potential)
if he can play left or right like Nani, and we can utilise both, it could be interesting ala ronaldo/nani times, that's if he develops, and taking into account if Valencia doesn't get out of this pit of despair he's stuck in.

He's had scraps. Which is understandable, he's 18. But he's got everything capable of being a Scholes replacement. Just needs game time, hence why I want him playing in every league and FA Cup game. Then once he settles properly, next season he could have started Premier League games.
But hell, i'm not Fergie and a sentimental fool, starting a 39 year old over young talent.
