As far as Natxo Monreal is concerned I read somewhere that we had an agreement with Malaga to take him in the summer but the deal is trying to be pushed forward due to the Gibbs injury.

You have to wonder how that fits in with giving Gibbs a 40-50k a week new contract then, ignoring the fact he's completely crap, that comes across as Wenger wants him for first team, though we do have stupid wages for back up players, however he constantly harps on about how good he is.
Is Monreal two footed or anything, with Arsenal supposedly letting Sagna walk at the end of the season, could they see Monreal as a replacement for Sagna maybe?
Like I said, IF he turns out to be good and gets played ahead of Gibbs, I'm really happy, if he turns into expensive back up because Wenger's an idiot, then its a waste. I honestly think Gibbs is so bad I wouldn't keep him for 20k a week as back up and would buy a new first team and younger/potential/back up left back.
Anyway, we'll see in, well, 3 weeks till Gibbs is supposed to be back, then the 6 weeks after they fail to treat it properly and it gets worse rather than better, then the month he'll miss after pulling a different muscle coming back from injury...... we'll see next season I guess
