January Transfer Window 2012/2013 Season Rumours/Signings

At least Jordan was able to impart some of his knowledge of how to run a club....into the ground.

Coming up next- Mastermind with Simon Jordan, special subject- Simon Jordan.

(there's nothing personal in this, honest!)

Dons transfers

In: Sweeney (Bury), Hussey (Coventry), Alexander (Crawley), Pell (Hereford), Saint-Luce (Free, ex-Cardiff) loans extended for Sullivan and Meades.

Out: Harrison (Cheltenham), McNaughton/Djilali/Hervel (all released).

Still one more to come I think, and by the looks of it, it's Alan Bennett from Cheltenham, who would be a great signing.

Good January for us - and despite being bottom of league two we're unbeaten in 2013!

have man city signed no one?

spurs need to hope adebayor hits form now elst we are in trouble

Well he's played a full 90 mins of each of his games for Togo so I'd kinda hope he'd get some sort of form from this experience. He's only scored 1 mind you.

In which case I'm surprised Newcastle weren't interested.

edit: before their recent signings

They were and Graham chose Sunderland

I also think there was a case of Swansea being happy to let him go as well so not completely player driven

An alright window for us, Forren in, we needed an extra CB as Seaborne was getting far far too close to the bench for my liking.

Most the hot prospect kids out on loan, Hoskins (who's stocky, blond and a powerful shot forward) is off to stevenage and Reeves (who is small, blond and plays 18 positions) is off to Southend, hopefully to find a position as he terrified me as a fill in left back for his pro debut for us earlier in the season.

Dross shipped out too! Forte to Sheffield to never be seen again (as he's stupidly fast/rubbish), Seaborne to Bournemouth (to never EVER be seen again as his contract is up in the summer), Lee Barnard off for a cup game at Oldham (who's just average) and best of all Steve De Ridder is GONE! No more watching a short fast 25 year old idiot run about pretending to be a footballer.

Final good news Sharp didn't come back! 12 months on and Andy was right, he's naff, glad he's not mucking about with us when he's just a champ poacher.

Odemwingie song...

"hey i just drove here, and this is crazy, but im in your car park so sign me maybe, its hard to go back hommmme so in carpark so sign me maybe"

HAHAHAHA! :D

That needs to be sung at him for the rest of the season! (and every QPR game/every game in general)

Glad we've actually signed what looks like a decent left back. Never seen him play a match but Malaga did well last year and he was involved in 40 odd games for them so he can't be that bad. Pretty sure he's got some Spain caps too, supposedly he's good in the air and decent at crossing. Really looking forward to seeing him play. :)

I'm happy with Spurs.

If analysis is correct, Holtby will slot straight into the first team and improve our creativity. Defoe, Adebayor and Dempsey can be rotated up front as required. Ade did well last season, Defoe this season and Dempsey has done well in huge matches getting vital goals.

AVB does have the brains to make us tick. A superstar creative mid and superstar striker would be obvious improvements but given how bad the EPL is I think he will get us 4th with a little luck.

We finally got rid of Jenas. That is enough cause for celebration.

Edit: I really want us to get Like Shaw soon. The guy looks super.

Yup, I would have been quite happy to spend some real money on Shaw, but with the money Southampton are throwing around and I think they gave him a new improved contract didn't they, I think it would have taken a pretty big fee to get him. IE they were getting 10-15mil for Walcott/AOC before they got in the prem and had some money, he's a real prospect, I could see him moving for 15mil easy, maybe more, maybe they have the balls to simply say no to any sensible price.

If they get relegated, we should snap him up asap though, then sell Gibbs to whatever stupid team is overspending on Arsenal players next summer, theres always one these days :p

As far as Natxo Monreal is concerned I read somewhere that we had an agreement with Malaga to take him in the summer but the deal is trying to be pushed forward due to the Gibbs injury.

Which to be fair isnt a bad thing as Gibbs is a walking injury waiting to happen and having someone who is hopefully a decent replacement for him is much better than having to rely on that inept muppet called Santos.

I swear ill have a ragefit if this weekend i see Santos either starting or on the bench:p

Odemwingie is officially screwed

Serves the **** right for going totally against what his club said ie hes not free to talk to any clubs. I hope WBA nail his backside to the wall and punish him hard, in fact they should put him in the reserves or something till the end of the season.

Monumental douchebag he is.

IIRC SSN were saying it was in the region of £8mill or something.

Looking forward to see Nacho play, hopefully he will start in the place of Gibbs on the weekend. Nothing like getting stuck in at the deep end against Stoke of all teams:p

EDIT: Seems like City are the only team that didnt splash any cash this Jan, they sold Balo off to AC but i was thinking today, any minute now the big spenders are going to come in with some super duper signings but alas didnt happen. Guess Mancini doesnt see a need to improve his squad in this Jan window.

Well I'm pleased we have addressed one area that actually needed strengthening. Hopefully he is our first choice from now on.

I don't like the fact we didn't replace Sagna as it probably means we will be resigning him in summer.

Would have liked another game changing player but hopefully arshavin gets a few games instead. He is like a new signing...
