Yeah, how DARE a couple of season ticket holders come out in support of one of the clubs best players ever.
Man.U. fans are such numpties
There is exactly nothing that encompasses the management style of how Chelsea have won titles with having to get rid of Lampard. They haven't at any stage in the past what 8 years made an effort to get rid of really old players, nor get rid of their best players.
Keeping or getting rid of Lampard wouldn't change the way Chelsea have won titles. They've switched systems, managers, players who don't work, kept players who don't work and got rid of players who have worked. Shevchenko, Ferreira, Robben would be examples of those. The only general philosphy I'd attribute to describe the way Chelsea is being run is, when the manager isn't working they aren't scared to change them. Players, that has been far less true, again Ferreira, I have no clue why he's there. In terms of forcing out players who are effective, in form and amongst the clubs best, that isn't something Chelsea has made a habit of in gaining success.
They should keep Lampard, he's been their best player for is it a decade now, he's been the best box to box midfielder the premiership has seen in terms of quality + consistency + effectiveness.
With Lampard, he's the kind of guy you want at the club for life, play until he doesn't want to play, ignore the press, the guy has never once said he demands a place or made any attempt to move. The only thing he's said is its hard to sit on the bench when you've been dropped and the team is playing worse. You want him to retire from football, move into coaching and teach kids, reserves and eventually the first team to play like he does.
Doesn't Lampard have kids and I assume shared custody, wouldn't that mean moving to the states for football would be pretty difficult, in which case I can kinda see him sticking around in the EPL... but playing for a direct rival to Chelsea seems unlikely.
