Sums it up. Had a great half a season then just went abysmal, seems to have lost his bite. Can't tackle for toffee and can't pass the ball so he's useless in midfield.
 
I think Berbatov would be awesome for Arsenal, as I've said before.

There's no chance we'll get Mata, either. Chelsea would never sell him to us no matter the price. He's also not a perfect fit for what we need. If Moyes wants to play with 'flying wingers' then we need some wingers who can actually cross and beat people, not more Kagawa-type players.

He should review the system, Man Utd fans aren't hell-bent on having wingers, wingers are actually pretty boring, especially when they are Valencia and Young. :(

Wouldnt mind Berba at Arsenal, think he would give us a brilliant backup option to Giroud and probably start a few games to give Giro a rest.

For £2mill its not a bad bit of business even if he turns out to be a momumental flop. I dont think he will ask for huge wages as well as hes pretty old..32 iirc so could get a 2 yr contract.

Cant wait to read what drivel DM will post when he hears about this lol.

To stop the crosses Utd need to buy two quality CM's , which isnt going to happen in Jan (due to inflated prices and majority being CL tied). One would be a start, and is essential (but after the **** up over the summer is still unlikely for excuses given every time Moyes talks about transfers)

Like I said at the time. Valencia couldn't assist a granny over the road let alone setup a hat full of chances against decidedly B grade opposition.
It's like he has no7 brain and runs zombie-like forward. Must get forward kick ball hard at 18 yard box. Awesome.


Then you have an absence of goals from cm. Sure no one expects carrick to score. He's proven that time and time again. But cleverly or whoever else needs to chip in massively.

Look at rambo, Oscar, yaya etc these guys are all providing goals from midfield.

Kagawa is a false dawn. For Utd he's consistently not shown enough. Too few goals, too few assists,. Basically we need a much better version of kagawa. Someone who can pick the ball up, beat 2 men and get a good shot on target.

If we pass instead of taking on a defender we just pass the buck to someone else without that cutting edge. Oh yeah, going wing to wing is utterly pointless too. Once our left wing has the ball why do they want to 45 yard pass to the opposite wing? Can't beat your man or reliably get a cross on? Well that's kinda the job and if you can't do it time to find a new club.

That's an interesting one and one I'm not sure what to make of it. Not exactly the high profile signings Spurs are usually linked to but which never go through which could mean it's true...

I think he's a really good player, and the type of striker Spurs lack. Works the channels well, utterly tireless, can drop deep or go "long".

Is he a striker who should be starting every week for a top 4 side? Probably not, but then Spurs aren't quite a top 4 side, and I doubt he'd start every week. He certainly offers a useful option though.
 
At today’s press conference Jose Mourinho saying he wants Mata/de Bruyne to stay, had offers for de Bruyne and won’t be buying a striker.

I wasn't enthralled at seeing this. Its not just the horrific results, but the kind of football we play. We have had some truly embarrassing results and also similar performances to match. I guess there becomes a problem when public perception is this bad on the continent that even players from Italian non title runners can come out with a burst like that.

Very disheartening, especially following the whole 'we tried to under pay for Herrera,

He didn't actually say that. If the media reported what he said in full then you'd see that you're not that special.
