Berbatov on his way out??, seems like he isnt happy with the situation at Fulham and wants to leave in Jan.

Ermmm because he wants to play and score goals???. At the moment he isnt getting a look in at Real so him coming on a 6mth loan wouldnt be too bad, he could potentially relieve some of the pressure on Giroud in our squad and bag a handful of goals.

Ermmm I said "why would he go from one bench to another".

He will be back up to Giroud, he may as well stay where he is. If he was going to move it would make more sense to move to a club to get some game time and score some goals, as you say.

He's played in 10 of Real Madrid's 15 games albeit only 20-30 minutes at the end, he wouldn't even get that game time at Arsenal especially when Walcott is back. Not only that but if he is used at Madrid why would they loan him ?

Think he would get the time his ability allows, if he good enough he will play a lot if not then he will be backup, depends on how much he trusts himself to break into the team?

I'm sure from the outside looking in he must think he has a much higher chance pushing Giroud than he would have at RM.

Should have stumped up through £30mill for Benteke in the summer.

Hearing a rumour that we may get Morata from Real on 6mth deal, think he has only started a couple of games and has scored as well. Possibly a backup to Giroud and Bendtner will probably get shoved out the door...gonna miss our last Samurai when he goes :

Morata would be handy. I think Pato would have been a good deal, with Ozil and team providing the assists.

What makes you say that?

Because he's a very intelligent player and I think he'd slot into their style of play quite well. It's methodical and precise most of the time, not fast on the break.

I don't think it'd take much for Fulham to sell him either.

Premier League: Dimitar Berbatov's agent says he wants to leave Fulham

There you go Arsenal, an awesome striker. Arsenal's midfield has the legs to support him quite comfortably, and he'd be on the same wave length as the likes of Ozil too.

Bit slow arent we??:p, i posted it a few posts up. Anyhow it looks like its his agent trying to get teams interested in him.

Not sure if he would suit us or our play, i havent seen much of him playing and when i have...i havent been that impressed but thats due to the fact he plays for Fulham.

If we can get him cheap enough then i dont see a problem, it will be a problem if Fulham want £20mill+ for him.

The other issue is will he be happy to play off the bench ie to come on as a sub for Giroud or start a few games etc. The one good thing is that it will give Giroud some proper competition for the striker role as at the moment, he isnt getting much competition with Bendtner as his backup.

I think Berba could be a very handy signing for Arsenal actually. Would just stand their and play through balls to all of the midfield runners.

Think there is much better options out there, he may still be ok, but I get the feeling he's lost it.

Funny enough although he has not being good lately would much prefer a punt on Pato, if we can get him around 8/12m mark would not be hard to recover most that money if things don't work, if they do we could have a world class striker for peanuts.

And he adds something very different from Giroud.

I would be very interested in seeing Berbatov at Arsenal. Would certainly be a decent backup striker to have, as I have no interest in replacing Giroud.

Think very few real arsenal supporters would want him replaced, we just need something different, it's only "other" supporters who talk about replacing him.

Could be wrong, but just don't see Berbatov being a success at Arsenal, he would never keep up.

He'd be a disaster for arsenal. Berbatov slows up the play of every team he plays for. He ruined United at times.

I don't think we really need to buy a striker in January, we've got a few players in the squad who have already said they want to play there and we still have Bendtner as backup too. Personally, when he's fit again I would just put Podolski in the centre when Giroud needs a break but I'm not a football manager so what do I know? :p

Hoping for a quiet time at Spurs this window.. May be shift some dead wood hanging around.. We've had too much inconstancy without adding to the problem. My feeling is that it will be Defoe and Ade out, with a new CF coming in plus a new LB.. Why we let Assou-Ekotto on loan to QPR is still beyond me. Would much prefer see him return and get Vertonghen back to the CB role.

Liverpool rumours coming thick and fast. Mohamad Salah (Basle) and Yann M'vila heavily linked to come in Jan. Would welcome both but id prefer Montoya...

I certainly wouldn't mind Salah. He was fantastic against Spurs last season in the EL and it was a surprise Basle managed to keep hold of him in the summer. If we can bring in a forward, DM and full back it would be a very good window.
