Not a strong midfield though. Probably should be done in summer. But as I said, it should have been done last summer, or at least get a decent winger :rolleyes:

I agree with Plan B, but if you really need, Push Welbeck, Kagawa and Januzaj on the wing (hopefully another AMC who is decent on the wing) just for that game, to add width. Obviously they are not as effective, but if the team send 10 players behind the wall, you need the width.

I don't know. It seems to me that Moyes wants to keep as much as possible unaltered. He signed just Fellaini, and is interested in players United were interested in before such as Baines.

I think he needs more time.

So you see my point then as whilst it's an option and is the way that some teams set up, it can't be done at the moment, it's a project that would take a fair while and would have change the very ethos of the club, an ethos that has bought success over a number of years.

Chelsea have played that system for years now with the money to back it up, they still haven't won half as much as United in the time. (jammy CL excluded)

Edit - I think someone is having a laugh. If Anderson really has been sold for £17m (1.7m would be nearer the mark) thats an incredilble bit of business....and it makes my evaluation of Valencia earlier way too low!!!

Dont believe it, and not sure he will be much of an improvement but is better option than Buttner lol

It baffles me why anyone would believe these rumours :confused:

On another note, it looks like we've all but re-signed Matic for a stupid fee, top business that is.
This softens the blow if true though -

I believe we only stopped him going to you as Lukaku was desperate to go on loan and we would've been left with just Torres & Eto'o.
To be fair, you can have Ba any day :p
 
That Zurich Radio quote is apparently fake too, though I would expect him to pick Chelsea over us, but he probably wouldn't announce it before it's official.
