Apparently Rafael has denied the rumors. He's probably my favourite player and imo should be made captain if/when Evra/Vidic move on.
Rafael for captain?!
There are some reports that Real Madrid are close to signing Alberto Moreno from Sevilla, which would free up Coentrao.
Rafa was arguably our best and most consistent player last term. Id much rather he got it than Jones/Smalling :/
Considering Everton are closer to the title spot than Utd are, surely Utd becoming as good as Everton wouldn't be a bad thing? So Moyes wants Barkley and Coleman, this after buying Fellaini, he's basically turning UTD into Everton then?

Not sure why some of the Man Utd fans here don't want Coleman. Yes, Rafael is good, and has lots of potential, but for this season I don't think anyone would question that Coleman has been the best RB in the league. Assuming he keeps up this level (and it's not just an amazing run of form) I think he'd do well at any club in the league, though I don't want him to go anywhere.
That's true, and he signed a new contract not so long ago so he's tied to us for the next 4/5 years I think, so he wouldn't be cheap.I wouldn't mind Coleman, but Everton won't want to deal with us so he'll cost loads.
‘Arsenal to splash out £37m on ‘new Van Persie’ - Arsenal are ready to splash out £37m on the German wonderkid they believe can be the next Robin van Persie, according to a report in the Daily Mail. They are prepared to meet the release clause for Julian Draxler, 20, who has been identified as a priority target for the Gunners after an intensive scouting drive. Arsene Wenger’s staff believe Draxler, who plays as an attacking midfielder for Schalke, has the attributes to play as a lone centre forward. Wenger may yet move for Draxler this month but the release clause does not apply until the summer.
Paper Roun
I would be surprised if right now any Everton players would join Manu without getting 100k per week. If he'd gone in for Coleman in July he might have stood a chance.
If Baines signs a new deal and snubs Moyes that's one hell of a statement.
