Looks like Arsenal want to offload Podolski for Draxler, the latest rumour coming out. Not sure what Podolski has done wrong since hes been at Arsenal but poor guy cant get a look into the squad. Not sure about Draxler myself, heard runours that Wenger wants to turn him into the next RVP for us. Kid is young at 20 and is a real talent but hes of no use to us as he is out till March with an injury as it is.

This! Funny people are using pictures from The Daily Mail as gospel (Even from looking at it half the players aren't in the pictures). Weird that the headline on the daily mail is still on the front sports page but when you click it doesn't work...
 
There's no specific footage of him no, but the host bloke says what I quoted above, he wouldn't have said that if he wasn't there.
There is footage of 2 groups training, I'm sure someone somewhere will get a still of them and zoom in :p
 
Towards the end of the video they pan over to a group of players on the right, Mata could be there, it's hard to tell. The ones on the left are with Mourinho I think, who started with the game on Sunday. They are the ones the Daily Mail have pictures of, mostly.

Either way you'd expect him to be there unless a deal had been agreed and if we believe the press, we've not even bid yet, so. We'll have to wait and see.

I guess we'll find out from Moyes later, not that I expect much from him. :p

Would you (and Cosimo) want to sell him to us for £40m if that's what we offered? Assuming PSG and co aren't interested.

Nope.
Not that I think we need him at the moment as we haven't done that well when he's played and he's obviously having difficulties adjusting to the (better) style we're playing now but because it will strengthen you.
He's a great player no doubt and when a team is tailored to suit him he can be the difference, we were tailored to suit him in the last couple of years but struggled in the PL and everyone moaned about the type of football we played, we're playing better football now and are far more consistent, none of that is Mata's fault of course it's just different philosophies.
We don't need the money, we're doing fine for FFP even with last years loss, and you wouldn't let Rooney come to us so I'd just be a stubborn old git and tell you to shove it ;)
It'll be a shame if he does go overall but he's a fantastic bloke (those who follow his blog will know that) and he needs to be playing on the big stage, not sure if he'll get that at Man.U. though :p
 
Telegraph saying he's told friends and family he's joining us, coupled with the BBC's confirmation of the bid. Also been further confirmation he didn't train from the BBC and others too.

It's on! I'm past the point of no return now! :D

I think PSg/Monaco are going to have a much harder time of bringing people in. Cavani/Ibra both appear to want to move on to a proper league, as does Falcao, the Monaco taxing situation, the potential French tax increase(I understand the 75% failed to be passed but they'll probably try again). Mostly it's that the top players are all unhappy being in a weak league, most seem to regret it, beyond players who only care about money, most will see 1million less a year but playing in a competitive league as being the far better option.

Outside of what, maybe 8-10 UCL games a year Ibra/Cavani/Thiago are all realising the other 40 games are poo, against poor opposition and really not many people watch the french league. I don't know if Mata is a money grabber or not, but I'd expect players to really not like the signs that most of the big names who went to those teams wanting out. PSG/Monaco to likely end up like MLS teams, picking up some big names on huge wages when they are pretty much done to attract attention to the league.
 
Looks like Zaha is on his way to Cardiff on loan, not that surprising really

More rumours of heavy interest from Juve for Nani, Although im not really sure why given he has barely played this season through injuries etc ( and is on a new long contract)....basis of the recent Vidal rumours?

Anderson loan completed, Fabio loan still being discussed from the little that has been around about it and now Zaha, which I hope can be completed quickly hopefully means at least 2 squad places left if/ once Mata arrives ( or is Zaha young enough not to need a squad place as such?)

Cant see Vidal arriving before the Summer IF at all ( more likely the latter) but still hoping for this other "European cm" to come in Jan.
