I'd blame Liverpool, they're obviously trying to muscle in on our signing of Salah & if we don't get him we can't let Mata go :mad:;)
 
We can have the medical now, but seem to be choosing to wait instead. I expect we plan to unveil him on Monday (so people say).

Apparently the Salah medical and stuff has to be done abroad so it takes a bit longer than usual.

Shh you, Mourinho has come out and said he'll be our player and good luck to him and given his respect for the club I trust him.

I'm also now confident we'll land Vidal possibly seeing Nani going out, and maybe even Gundagon. My god, could you imagine it.

Doubt it very much, he's at a title winning side (on track for another), turned down interest from a lot of clubs in the summer and signed an extension in December to 2017.

If he is available you can bet Utd aren't the only team that would be in for him.
 
Something's the Mata as a few reports now saying the deal likely to be Monday and maybe even Tuesday. You'll have to wait and see when/if the Salah deal is done.

Rodgers told the club he wants to sign somebody that can play in the hole and a midfielder with an engine on him. Ayre's signed Dunkin Donuts and now Vauxhall :/

Mata is a done deal.
Mata is already on record talking about life at Man Utd.
I can't see how he will remain at Chelsea, now.

If we can get another big player in the Summer (while keeping Rooney + RVP) and buy 2-3 squad players, we should have a decent squad. Then its upto the manager to make the best use of those players.

What I am worried about is Moyes' tactics. His team were defending against Sunderland. Even if you had star players in your team, if your manger tells you only to attack on the counter, but focus on defending, the players have to follow their manager's instructions. Moyes has to be more adventurous and stop playing like a small club manager.

I just don't see our current squad as the 7th best in the league. The manager has to be take some (not all) of the responsibility.
 
Chelsea could just be wasting our time and then they pull the plug at the last minute giving us no time to sign someone else. That's what I'd do anyway...then sell him to Madrid or psg.
