*January Transfer Window 2014/15 Season Rumours/Signings*

Only one worth its salt is KUMB.com

Rest are balls. Whole deal inc add ons is £16m and that included the loan fee.

Every single reputable news outlet reported the fee as £15.5m + £2m add-ons. That didn't include the loan fee for the previous season.

As for the fansite, I'm not sure. I had a quick look earlier but google wasn't being nice to me. It was only in relation to the terms of the add-ons being linked to West Ham's survival rather than Carroll's personal performance.

Well done Stevie G. To be honest I'm disappointed he won't retire at Liverpool. Retire the shirt and everything.

It's for the best. He's only in the side on a regular basis now because our other CM's aren't up to it and hopefully by next summer that won't be the case. The abuse he gets from some morons is bad enough now, let alone what'll come his way next season when he's in and out of the side and even further away from what he once was.

Although Suarez at his peak reached the highest level of any Liverpool player in my lifetime, when you factor in the longevity and his importance to the side over many years Gerrard's the best player I've seen live in a LFC shirt. It'll be a strange day the day he leaves.

Yeah can't blame players for heading over to the Galaxy for a couple years - get a hefty payday and live in SoCal for a couple years - tough choice :p

There will never be another like him. Sad times, some utter ***** didn't deserve to see him play for their club or country

Probably my second favourite Liverpool player ever after Fowler but I won't be sad to see him leave. Had he left for Chelsea in 2005/2006 I would've been gutted but football moves on and players get old and he's nothing like the player he was back then.

Having said that, Rodgers has managed him atrociously for the last year and rather than try and shoehorn him in to the team in a position that doesn't suit the player or the team he should've been used like City have used Lampard. If that had happened my opinion of him might be different than it is now but I feel playing him just for the sake of it has really hurt the team this season.

Unlike BaZ I feel we do have the midfielders to cope without him in the team but they'll be playing in a different way and one that relies on the whole team playing as one rather than one single player having to bail us out all of the time.

Liverpool legend and one we haven't heard the last of at Liverpool :)

Will be good to see our midfield dominate and us winning most games when he's gone. Certainly something I wouldn't mind being wrong about. I expect great things next year

The voice of football a day ahead of the rest on the Gerrard story :o

Been a great servant to the club and single handedly responsible for two of the most amazing cup finals ever seen. Bowing out at the right time though, his best years are past him and last season must have left some serious emotional scars on the bloke.

Confirmed. That hastag though... :D

That slip broke him. He hasn't been the same since. Must have crushed him to be so close and have that happen.

Also watched MoTD this morning and you can see all the players hugging him and what not before the game, now we know why.
