January Transfer Window 2017/18

His release clause was the same last year (broadly speaking, it certainly wasn't £200m). He said he didn't want to move and screw Atletico over because they wouldn't be able to sign a replacement.

Reports today Man Utd are interested in signing Leon Goretzka. Great player, probably difficult in January though, but his contract is running down...

Danny Rose to Utd?

Its a problem position even with Young playing better than he has in the last 4-5 years, but I have to admit I'm really not sure. Surely with Levy involved it will be £50m + (not sure I believe the papers suggesting it will be £45m - and potentially with the Poch link , Shaw going the other way to make it approx. £25m)

Rashford and Martial seem to me to be best on the left (as they get very little "central" game time) , and mkhi and Mata are basically invisible on the right , would be ideal to get someone in that spot - especially if they can cross well
Lingard seems like a shoe in for any game where Mou wants a hard working No 10

he's very lanky.

I would like to see Perisic over here, looks a nifty player, sell Sanchez and purchase Perisic.

He's a lot more athletic than Xhaka, isn't as skilful, but is defensive minded. hmmm, I'm not sure he's the answer either

The circulated figures for Zaha are crazy. £40-50m is frighteningly high for spurs or arsenal

We're being linked with another attempt to sign Lemar in January:

http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...est-rumours-updates-live-monaco-a8120436.html

Barca based rags are still reporting that Coutinho will join them and Sport have again put their *******s on the line and claimed it's a done deal for €150m in January. I've lost count of the amount of times they claimed it was done during the summer so I'd take that with a pinch of salt. That said, if we are genuinely in for Lemar in January then it could very well mean that Coutinho's off, if not in Jan but definitely in the summer.

Coutinho to Barca in January doesn't make much sense to me. Why pay a premium to get him in January as opposed to early next summer when you're fairly comfortable at the top of La Liga and he'll be cup tied for the CL?

It doesnt make sense for us but i assume this was all done in the summer so that would be why. People touting Lemar as his replacement...is he even close to being as good ?

Won’t happen so stop posting utter rubbish, do that for your own team thanks.

Sell Sanchez in Jan, he’s not interested in playing for us anymore. Use whatever money we get for him to get someone else in. But please just sell him.

Looks like City is the most likely destination for him, but not until the summer unfortunately.

Seems like it sadly but there are rumours that PSG might make a play for him in the winter transfer window so that could cause City to act faster.

Was also reading an article, not sure how true it is that Sanchez had all but agreed on a new contract even shaking hands on the new deal. But when we got utterly spanked by Bayern 10-2 on aggregate, he changed his mind.
