So if we were to do something here, that seemed normal to us, and other people thought it was wrong, you wouldnt have a problem with them forcing us to stop it?

Whilst i dont necessarily agree with exactly what they do on this subject in japan, i dont feel its anyone elses right to impose their own laws. Thats why we have these things called borders, to seperate countries and their own big book of laws.

Again everyone is condemning this but another thing to compare are the rates of sexual molestation of children in japan and the UK....or even sexual crimes in general...

They look at pics of kids, we rape kids..

all you have to do is look at the media flying around in japan. For example:

that girl looks around 5 or 6 years old and is probably drawn (a guess since i can't see the rest of her) very scantily clad. Shocking when you realise you can get nude anime when these girls are depicted so young.

Sadly its seeping over here and might we be heading the same way as them?

hotlinking is bad m'kay

PAEDOGEDDON.

Delivering justice onto men who prey sex on our children. Men who have sacrificed the right to a life without pain. I know how they look. I know how they think. I was one, for Christ's sake. 10 years ago, I had designs on my own kids. I knew that one day I might act on them, so to stop me I shot myself in my own head. I killed the paedophile in me--now I do the same for society. Because these men have chosen the way of the animal. They don't deserve punishment--they deserve... gunishment.

It just

Don't feel right to look at her pictures, they may not be porno but they are suggestive.
It's plain wrong, I never really liked the Japs for what they done to people in the war, this just adds to it.

This thread should be culled.
Sorry but I have two daughters, and if a dude with a camera asked them to dress up like that and pose for pictures, he would have a very short life from that moment on.

I really think the average jap man is a perverted freak.

and let me guess how many times youve been to japan and how many 'japs' you even know...

Apparantly girls mature faster than boys. So if I was very aware of sexuality at the age of 13 then i'm sure shes aware of her sexuality and the nature of the pictures shes posing in. Although I do agree that in FE cultures children can be forced to do things by their parents.

The question is did she do this willingly and informed as to the nature of the pictures or not. If yes then I don't see anything wrong here, if no then it is definitely immoral.

I know a few japs

Balddog, I worked for sony's.
You should have seen the " cough" books they used to bring in.
Never been to japan, but was born in singapore changi so at least lived that corner.
I still think they are jerks, for the want of a better word.
So lets stay on track for the subject please.

Maybe they're not so different from the average Western man, they're just more open and less uptight about it...

I half agree 'cause we're all human, its not like the Japanese are aliens. It's wrong by our standards though, and as far as we're concerned those are the only ones that matter.

It's just ironic that we wouldn't be having this topic going if we were all born and raised Japanese

It's not like we can change the Japanese culture (ok there's the whole Edo period, but times change). While none of us will condone it there's nothing we can do about it, so as long as she's not being physically abused just let them get on with it - I doubt any of us can understand the mentality behind it.

Be interesting if there was somoene Japanese here to comment..

But I will not defend that it is right in anyway.
If you have daughters, you see things like this from another angle.

Presumably Japanese men with daughters don't all agree with you? :) Or their culture would be the same as ours.

Personally I think we are too uptight about sex and pornography in this country. Who's to say the Japs have got it wrong.

It's not only your right but your responsibility if you think it is wrong.

Clearly you don't think it is.

This whole thread is outrage for outrage's sake. Go and write a letter to the Daily Mail or stage an actual protest or petition the UN or the Japanese Government or whatever if you feel that strongly about it.

It's a little bit weird, as we know the Japanese often are to us, but it's not like they're all running around raping children left right and centre.

It would definately be made unacceptable in the UK. But then again, even if it wasn't, any image of children in the west nowadays is so tabooed that most people want to stay away from them altogether (i mean, lets face it, these peedos will get their kicks off anything nowadays). Therefore nobody would want to see her anyways (i wouldn't, I doubt anyone else would).
Japan is a weird country though, the perverts over there seem to favor cartoons to real people and I read somewhere that cartoon child porn is legal there for some reason.

Just to add, I disagree that we can just say "it's their culture!11z." Throughout the world, we have standards, it's widely accepted that killing people is wrong, raping people is wrong amongst over things. Surely exploiting children is widely accepted as being wrong as well?
