John Terry Racism Trial

Police are investigating the guy who Tweeted the comment to Rio, I wonder if Rio will pay for his defence as it'll reflect badly on him if he's found guilty (if it gets that far :o).

If Terry gets found guilty by the FA I'd like to see Ferdinand charged too. You can't have one rule for a white man and another for a black man. Yes Ferdinand didn't say it, but he essentially approved of what the guy posted. If someone were to post on Twitter "Everything the KKK did was class ahahahaha" they'd probably get some kind of punishment.

So basically what Rio is saying is that he considers the comment to have one meaning where a majority of folks seems to think that it is a comment based on race

Now let's be generous to him and go with the fact that to him it means something different

This leads to an obvious question, who is going to play along side Vidic for the 8 matches that Rio will be unavailable for ?

Bwahahaha.

seriously though the 2 things are almost identical so i don't see that the FA would have any choice

for me it's all a big load of nothing as a lot of things have been this season but if they want to be seen to be consistent then what else can they do ?

ban Suarez based on the probability he may have been the one who did the original choc ice tweet

Much lols were had.

You can guarantee that if a white person had called Ashley Cole a choc ice or coconut or other derogatory term people like Ferdinand would be having kittens over it and demanding a harsh punishment.

If anyone is being oppressed here it's whites and if anyone is being racist it's people like Ferdinand who will happily laugh at racially offensive remarks just as long as those making them don't have white skin.

Couldn't agree more with this. Ferdinand is lucky he isn't white, if he was he couldn't easily laugh off that Choc ice remark.

The FA either have some startling new evidence or they're not really bothered about proof at all and just fancy sticking the nation's No.1. enemy in front of a Kangaroo Court whilst they **** each other off. Probably the latter I'd guess.
we know what you are john terry

Good lord, are you Garth Crooks?
You got embarrassed last time you spewed that **** and still have the stupidity to do it again.
Bet you'd love to be an FA executive.

As I'm sure you know already, the FA only need to find the case against Terry as probable rather than proved beyond reasonable doubt in order for them to find him guilty.

Terry's court case only found that the case against him couldn't be proved beyond reasonable doubt not that he was unquestionably not guilty.

Terry will surely be banned. The burden of proof is on him to prove himself not guilty in the fa trials, its not like a court case where he has to be proven guilty without reasonable doubt.

If Suarez gets banned for using the word negro then terry will certainly my be banned for saying ******* black ****, regardless of context. He will be charged for using racist language, which is what he as already admitted to in court.

Racism is a very serious thing, and as such it is not acceptable to have a lower standard of proof for it. Terry has been found innocent in a court and that should be the end of it.
