Journey Back to The Stage

Had my deep tissue massage yesterday. Was brutal, and he put me in all kinds of positions and cracked my back, felt heavenly after. QL is still agony today but it's definitely improved on how it was before the massage

Friday: Chest/Biceps

Incline DB Press - 28kg x8, 34kg x8x2
Pin Press - 70kg x8, 80kg x8, 80kg x6
Bar Curls - 20kg x8, 40kg x8x3
DB Curls - 18kg x8x3
Preacher Hammer - 16kg x8x2

Bench was a bit off as my confidence was a bit off due to not being sure on how my back would be. But a good session

Week off the gym, back finally feels better, it's only really yesterday and today that I've not felt it when moving in certain ways or getting out the car. So I'm happy to go back in tomorrow

I'm not going to finish this program with Rob though, it's 5 reps this week, while the weights I'd shift would be tasty, that sort of rep range isn't really going to benefit me. I know from experience that my body responds better to higher reps, so I'm going to go back to a new program, called "Wing it", basically I wing it in terms of exercises and sets, pretty much as I always used to do

Will stick with the same split. Only real difference I plan to make is adding a lot more volume back into my leg days. I've taken volume out of legs for a while in an attempt to shift more weight, but growth has slowed massively because of it. So going to go back to 5-6 exercises per session again as opposed to 3-4

Well this week hasn't gone to plan. Damaged a nerve in my leg, still can't put any weight on it or I get the most excruciating pain through it. And I have "Test flu" from switching to a new type of test

Absolutely knocked out, feel so weak, have no appetite :( RIP

Dragged myself in the gym tonight...all seated work yo'

Carrying weights to the bench or getting them into position really buggered my leg everytime. Hoping it's better by Monday

My legs :( Feel so ill, my chest feels really tight at the moment because of the flu, and it makes breathing so hard. I just want to feel better

<3

My chest was screwed recently when I pulled it, having a cold/cough hurt every time I coughed, breathing was an issue! Just got told to take ibuprofen for two weeks :x

Did you sleep on it funny or something?

It's not muscular. It feels actually in my chest cavity, as if there's a fluid build up or something. Think it's just part of this flu
