Just been insulted by local art shop owner.

Quite funny, most of the rich people I've come across in life wouldn't give the impression they had money from looking at them, tight as you know what, hence how they made their money.

Quite intrigued to see the painting now though, where's the so called gallery and what does the painting look like?

You could go back in and take a digital photo of it and when challenged say 'your happy to speak to me now then?' to which you can add 'i'm just taking a snap and to frame it as that costs nothing, as do manners, good day!'

Reminds me of a female friend of mine... she is ******* loaded but likes dressing casually and has been sneered at in certain shops asking to buy handbags at the like. She revels in asking for the manager, pulling out a fistful of fifties and then telling them to go **** themselves.

Sounds like she does it intentionally. I'd just go shop elsewhere myself.

To be blunt, you've chosen to be insulted by the petty actions of this petty person.

Why would you actually want an apology? Do you think you're going to get one, and even if you did do you really think it will be a genuine sincere apology?

If so, this person wouldn't have acted this way in the first place. You'd have been more suited to just laughing at the guy to his face for being so pathetic.

Get a rich friend to go in, big him up loads be dead interested, then you just happen to walk past and pop in to say hi to said friend, then explain to said friend that owner is an ass and walk out chuckling...

It's 'Cornwall Galleries' in Newquay, it's only a small shop/gallery.

Joe wall the artist is a she, Josephine Wall, she does fantasy art that is in oils which is getting quite popular now, it was/is very big in California but she is one of the better known fanstasy artist in the UK, I haven't checked for a long time but last time I looked at a piece called Earth Angel it was going for £4800, that was nearly all my savings at the time but I wanted to put it into somthing that would appreciate and keep money locked away and I loved that particular peice but I missed out on it unfortunately. The main reason I was asking the price today was I was just interested in how much her work had gone up in value over ten years.
