I've just bought a SNES with these games...

Mario Kart
Super Mario Allstars
Toy Story
Cybernator
Super Bomberman
Mortal Kombat 2
NBA Hang Time
Manchester United Championship Soccer

Where is the best place to buy games apart from ebay? Places like (exchange high street places) generally have 360, xbox, PS3, PS2 and ps1 games now

Went to a boot sale the other day (London) and a guy had pretty much every snes and master system game you could want as well as a tonne of other gaming bits and pieces, might be worth taking a look.

OMG Cybernator!

what a game that was back in the day, that was one of my fave games on the Snes, probably completed it more games than I can remember.

i'd also look for Starfox, not many places keep snes games (many second hand shops dont really keep them anymore), best looking in retailers that sell second hand games and car boots as above and the obvious places.

Hehe there are some great games on the system, got about 40 carts in my drawers and a 60hz modded PAL machine. Need to crack out ogre battle and super mario rpg again. Car boot and ebay do seem to be the best place now, the machine is almost 20 years old!

i spent days playing killer instinct on that console with a friend - as his house as i was a megadrive guy but still a couple of games on there id love to play again.... now where did i put my psp?

There was a game that was like turrican i can remmeber playing on SNES that was excellent. Cant remember what the name of it was, any ideas?

Some classic Snes games you may wish to buy (that weren't in your original post):

Secret of Mana
Chrono Trigger
Super Mario World

Chrono Trigger wasn't released in the UK. Dont buy the NTSC version, it won't work on your PAL Super Nintendo.

Secret of Mana is a GREAT suggestion, personally I also loved Secret of Evermore which was highly under rated by many.

Actually it will if you buy the fire snes convertor, most of the convertors were pretty rubbish but that one works like a charm, only games it doesnt work on were SuperFX I think :) I've got that, Chronotrigger, Wing Commander, Super Mario RPG and Ogre Battle; all american carts :)

Probably Super Metroid; the original Turrican was a metroid clone, and Super Metroid and Super Turrican were upgraded versions of the original.

Recommended Snes games here anyway:
Super Mario World - as you already have All Star, All Stars + World is also available as one cartridge
Chrono Trigger [NTSC]
Super Mario RPG [NTSC]
Ogre Battle [NTSC]
Zelda
Super Metroid
Street Fighter 2
Metal Marines
Super Smash TV
Donkey Kong
Super Bomberman 2
Illusion of Gaia
Any Final Fantasy
Mario Kart
Secret of Mana
Earthworm Jim
Sunset Riders (with a mate)
Super Star Wars
Breath of Fire
Knights of the Round
Cybernator/R-Type3
Megaman X
F-Zero
Zombies (Ate My Neighbours)
Starfox
Contra
Castlevania

Oh also be aware due to the age of the machines and carts, you may find getting a compressed air can on the SNES console connector a good idea; and blow it out each time you put a game in :)
Most of the problems with the machine are caused by aged connectors; and the only replacements around you can buy new seem to be from US consoles.

Thanks, it was Contra i was thinking about. Is Super Metroid better? I loved playing Turrican and Turrican 2 on Amiga.

What connection is SNES, it says it comes with RF cable, I take it that is supports SCART connection too. Do these come with it, i cant remember what connection are on the back of the SNES
