Was the car park even open? Its says the center shuts at half 5
Well if he had saved her life, then being injured would have been worth it.
Why do people keep saying this? Surely you can understand that the person would hit you with so much force you'd at least be critically injured yourself? If you're going to save them, it pretty-much has to be done before they jump.

Yep the BK carpark, but the opposite corner. keep walking left from bk, past subway.
This is the corner she jumped from:

I think different people have different views on people who suffer depression to the extent of wanting to die.
I personally believe the hard approach may not always be the right one. These people are NOT thinking rationally at the times they are in this frame of mind, a different approach is needed to comfat and reasure them into the correct professional help.
Exactly, people in such a state of desperation are clearly not in any fit state to make rational decisions.
Some of the comments show how ignorant some people are and their lack of maturity.
off topic but how did you do that?
People that cause suffering to strangers whilst taking their lives make me angry. If they want to end it then do it privately not in public whereby innocent people will be adversly affected
I feel for you asim, seeing someone die is not something I wish upon anyone
To be fair, a tall building is one of the most attractive ways of doing it. Doing it "privately" usually leads to the most painful. How dare you claim to be "angry" that these people chose to end it in such a way that others are affected? Who cares about the public at large - think about the families of the dead and their loved ones. They're the most affected - hit with much more impact than those ****holes filming the act on their phones.
Year ago I witnessed a bloke jump to his death from a high rise block of flats in Edinburgh. I was out test driving a mates' car that I was thinking of buying when I pulled over as I though the tyre had went flat. That's when I noticed a small crowd all pointing and looking skyward. He was on the 12th floor and watching him fall and hitting the deck gave me such a sickening feeling in my stomach that I almost passed out. People were all hanging out of their window trying to get a better look and standing around the car park below almost egging him on. The noise that he made as he hit the ground will stay with me forever. The fire service had to be called to hose the car park down afterwards. Those that were shouting at him to jump soon became speechless and I hope that his death still haunts them to this day.
I actually thought I was going to be fine afterwards despite my shock, but that night I burst into tears without realising that I was even going to cry it happened so quick

What about my girlfriend, who whenever she sees a hotel is haunted by visions of a man throwing himself to his death? So much so that she has difficulty even being nearby?
Suicide is a selfish act - but to cause the suffering of others in the process of trying to end your own is, frankly, bizarre. So yes, it is fair to be angry that they didn't choose a private location.
