Just Stop Oil has stormed the stage during the first night of the BBC Proms, throwing confetti and blasting air horns.

Probably got a knock on the door from the police, no matter how much somebody annoys you it's no excuse to break the law
Maybe JSO is a psyop to test the breaking point of the British population because they can't be so ******* stupid to see what they're doing is doing nothing for the good cause of trying to reduce emissions from fossil fuels and is only being an annoyance and joke to everyone
Yeah maybe a secret government psyop to see what the public will tolerate once they start legislating on what private individuals can't and can do when they start climate lockdowns
Well, many people's reaction seems to be saying something like "Those JSO idiots are ******* awful. We probably need to do something about climate/co2/fossil fuels/whatever, but these morons are doing it all wrong"
Which, when you break it down, is actually an acknowledgement of the need to 'do something' about climate.
So they're genuinely pushing the case.

From changing Just Stop Oil to Just Stop New Oil when it was pointed out how ridiculous a statement it was,
To physically resembling an undiverse group of either privileged north londonites or gender questioning students.
To using a messed up skull thing as a logo, like the Nazi SS or pirates.
To be constantly seen ruining funerals, holidays, job interviews, the tennis, the proms, the cricket...but never some political event.
Can it actually get any worse

Except those reasonable people probably thought we need to do something about the climate before JSO came on the scene, so they've achieved nothing but ******* people off to the point they're willing to risk breaking the law
Genuinely, I hear a lot more people talking about it in the context of JSO than I ever did a few years ago.

Not dug into it to validate but I've had several videos pop up in my reccomendations on YouTube where people have cleared up, or asked the organisers to send people to clear up, after them at several protest/activism sites where they've left discarded rubbish including water bottles, etc. behind for example

The video footage represents a person or government entity seeing the catastrophic effects of climate change affecting someone else, yet they plough on thinking the situation won't affect them.
It's a metaphor for climate change denial, and your reaction has been a little bit ironic.

I'd quite happily stop talking about them. But people talk about what's on the news. The news ppl aren't going to stop showing it. So that doesn't work.
I'm very much a strong believer in "**** around and find out".
The reason these vermin get away with this is because our laws don't stop them. It's high time someone took one for the team and sent them a message the good old fashioned way.
