I expect we'll see another pandemic in, if not our lifetime then definitely your kids.
Its almost like messing around with animals and pumping them full of antibiotics is a bad idea.

I'm curious how you imagine "messing around with animals and pumping them full of antibiotics" is causing a viral epidemic?

that is a different topic for a different thread.... however humans have been genetically engineering plants and animals since the stone age. using modern methods nowadays Incan see why some are worried about it and it definitely needs tight over sight but I am not inherently against it (note I am biased I am a genome analyst by trade)
drugs and stuff pumped into animals / meat is another thing I am not inherently against but does need tight control. i am strongly in favour of the EU food safety standards and dead against weakening them to allow the lower quality us stuff in.
but at least with food unlike climate change for the most part a savvy shopper can avoid the worst of it (tho iirc the yanks were trying to get forced labelling of food additives removed as well which is baaad)
that still does not stop the issue of chemicals from animals making into the water table and what not but there is a lot which could contribute to that not just animal stuff (such as human medication).
all of which is way off topic about climate change,.using oil and justifying criminal damage for a cause (even if it's a sensible cause). so will be my only post on it however it seemed rude to ignore a previous reply to me.
