"Just stop oil"

Not if they get 2 years they won’t.
Agree with your first point though.
2 years will just equal 3 months and out for being well behaved or something, we all know that very few in prison actually serve their given sentences, compounded especially by the new government recent talk about cutting down the number of people in prison who are seen as not supposed to be in prison. I bet even if they get 2 years they'll be out by Christmas

They serve 50% of their sentence now, soon to be 40% if that happens. Either way if they get 2 years that doesnt = being out by Christmas and i'd imagine any time inside will come as a massive culture shock to these people.

I dont think it will be all that much of a shock to them, they'll be in the softest of soft prisons

need some room in the prisons first .. maybe the female gender prisons are less full though.

Poetic justice - they should have to eat M&S basics tinned soup , like the other should spend there days stuck in the cell.

they could still get out on license??(not sure if correct term) with a tag though and serve the rest of their sentence living normally apart from maybe a curfew

out in 4, 3 months on license I bet

If they get out on license hopefully their conditions are they have to stay away from just stop oil members, like a normal criminal would likely have as their bail terms

That's the "I'm having fun and there's nothing you can do about it" mentality".

I've worked with a few people like that, one of which was so bad it was hilarious. He was a massive Corbyn supporter in an office full of tory supporters, and not a day went by without him starting an argument about how great Corbyn was followed by such a vehement thrashing from everyone in the office. And he just used to stand there with that fake ass smile on his face which was basically a mask covering the rest of his body that was slowly crumbling. Props to them though, proper "'tis but a scratch" mentality. They will suffer like beaten dogs and still carry on smiling.
