The trouble is that unwanted attention is constant. It beggars belief that you think touching someone, especially on the bum, unannounced and without consent is okay.
Even if as a one off its seen as ok, it’s not a one off.
Woman are sexualised and treated as such from the moment they leave their house. The cars slowing down to ogle her, the person at the coffee shop talking about the things he would do to her to his friends, her boss objectifying her and taking more concern in Her appearance than her job, the supplier who calls her darling and flirts on the phone, the drunkard on the train putting an arm round her trying to chat her up, the Mass media blaming her for being raped as She wore a short skirt and then finally the man in the pub patting her bum.
None of these things are OK and you can’t look at acts in isolation and say they are ok as for many women out there acts aren’t an isolated thing.
Lol, getting quite defensive there?I never said it was ok, you've made that up. I said it happens all the time. You must have been out and had a drunk woman/man touch your ass, I bet you didn't cry sexual assault though. I also said it should be distanced from more serious life changing events.
I don't even know why you then randomly started talking about women, when my initial statement barely even mentioned women.

This whole topic is gender based, either we’re talking about male perpetrators or female victims.
Yes, i have. I’ve had hands going up my kilt every time I wear one (though has been two years since I last wore one) and I agree that in itself wouldn’t be what I’d consider sexual assault.
I was just making the point that whilst a tap on the bum may be nothing and simply something that can be laughed off, if that’s the 10th sexualised encounter you’ve been subjected to that day then it can get quite tiresome. I think we, as men, look at each individual act in isolation whereas for the woman subjected to it that’s far from the case. I think that’s worth considering. Simply saying “cheer up darling, it’s just banter” doesn’t really wash when it’s the nth time she’s been sexually touched that day, and this happens every day.
We, as men, need to sort our behaviour out more than women do

So innocent then. Another trial by social media ruining a career.
Embarrassing for Netflix and house of cards.
You preyed upon me from the age of 14. Believe me. Also I’m telling your employer and the press and you’ll lose your job.Not really, that gay Star Trek actor said he was preyed upon by Spacey when he was about 14.
