That Lifx one is a really good idea however at the price point its currently at I can't see it catching on much.

If it were around £10-£15 then it would be much more appealing!

Got my enclave choice link sent to me today. Decided on Matt black and multicoloured lens. Hopefully be delivered fairly soon.

Isnt the potential for scamming pretty much off the chart? Kickstarter takes no responsibility for project fulfillment. So you rely on Bill and Bob in their basement...strangers making gimmicky videos and extravagant promises to deliver X product (which is awesome btw! :D) but all they need is £100,000 *wink wink*

/holds out hand

hrmmm...

I think its abit like putting money down for a game, where you don't read the previews or reviews beforehand.

If you take the time to way up the kickstarter in terms of the quality of the pitch then you can make a more informed decision.

I have backed Carmaggedon and Planetary Annihilation because I satisfied myself that I believed that the developers were genuine about what they want to achieve with the thier end product and had the expertise to complete the project.

I did not back Nexus 2, despite being tempted because I didnt believe the above and I'm still considering Star Citizen as Im not 100% sure he can do what hes promising

I've expressed interest in the LiFX. It's so cool.

Even if you ended up defaulting it to white, and used the switch, it wouldn't be the end of the world....

That said, as I've only asked for an update, and not pledged anything, it doesn't really matter if it doesn't materialise.
