Kingdom Come: Deliverance / Open-World RPG / Medieval History

on my 1080ti its running around 35fps on UHD and very high .. wondering if G-Sync is tanking it

also had my first fist fight last night and won .. didn't know what the hell I was doing but I won so that's a result haha

only played an hour .. but like what I have seen so far

This is from steam, if you using Gsync or Freesync give this a try. I will test it also later.

- in-game, make sure to select the Fullscreen display option (so not borderless, or windowed). Now exit the game.
- go to the install directory (by default, this is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance)
- make a new file called user.cfg, place it in the install directory
- open the new file in notepad
- write the following in the file:

r_VSync = 0
sys_MaxFPS = 144

Set the MaxFPS to the rate of your Monitor, like 60, 120, 144, 244 and so on.

Yes, later one you can make your own schnapps, as you can see from Bickaxe post a bit further up. (Quoted below too)

Out of curiosity, what ingredients did you need for making the Schnapps ??

1x Nettle and 2x Belladonna.
Nettle are easy to find, not found any Belladonna yet so bought them from alchemist

Will give that a shot :)

OMG!

I was playing this game and every so often my graphics card fan would go mental! Then I'd see my GPU temps were at 91C, which has never happened in the last two years of owning this card. So not sure why this game does it lol

No Wifi on desktop cant find networks, So no game time here.. Grrr. Past few days its been iffy. Ethernet is a no go due to being a floor above. Why did they make this need a connection online?

Tried this .. didn't make a difference tbh .. but to be fair its not a fast paced game and happy with it around 40 fps would rather enjoy 4K over 1440p

Managed to get to Talmburg with the time I had yesterday evening. For some reason I had to wait 40 minutes for the last 100mb to do... something because it wasn’t downloading from what I could see. Not sure what was going on there, but it’s all working fine so far.

On a 2500K (stock, don’t ask), 8GB RAM and a GTX 1070 here and playing on medium everything comfortably so may have a dabble at a small overclock and then turn everything up to high on the weekend and see how it goes. No idea what the FPS is on medium but it’s smooth enough for me.
