Kingdom Come: Deliverance / Open-World RPG / Medieval History

mGPU may well be pretty much dead, but I've no budget for an upgrade at the moment (especially with the crazy prices recently).

sell them, 2 for 1 new one :p.

Anyone playing this on a gamepad? I would normally play this type of game on mouse and keyboard, but I think the difference to combat and ability to change movement speed in analogue makes the pad more attractive to use. I do llike going for a slow stroll and just panning the camera around. :)

I kinda mix 50/50. Hand to hand combat is done on controller yet archery far easier on mouse and keyboard which is the same for lockpicking - hard as nails with controller, far easier with m+kb.

Yeah I agree. one thing that's missing for me is great sunsets / dawn. Witcher3 had beautiful sunsets. Maybe the realism factor coming into play.

They are still very nice at times

Well... was loving the first 30 mins but now am stuck!
The first quest where you have to get charcoal / ale / cross piece for the sword I've completed all the objectives, quest now says return to father at forge however when i go to complete the quest Henry then says he's not got all the parts for the quest.
Great! stuck at first hurdle... have tried restarting the game but still the same.
Not impressed!!!!

I made a mistake by not fully buying enough charcoal.

Have you been to the inn? Slung dung at walls? Had a fight?

Had a fun night recently.

It was around midnight/1AM and came across this house, I had a torch on me and opened the door and crouch walked in to see what was available. Now the torch light must have hit a trigger on the NPC because he stirred, woke up and asked what I was doing. Quickly punched him and he ran off in search of guards (thinking this was just "there to make it feel more realistic") but after I'd grabbed some carrots and cheese and was on the look out two guards came by with torches in armour and geared up and had to pay an 80 Gretchen fine.. No way I was taking them both on.

Both failed AND succeeded! At least I got something from it.

This thread is a total **** tease. I can't wait to get ripped into this when I get home, it looks like a cracker.

Buggy but incredibly rewarding from what little I've played. You really need to get into the mindset of being the character, doing his chores etc and having periods of just immersing yourself without constant action. Loving it.
