Kingdom Come: Deliverance / Open-World RPG / Medieval History

92hrs on the clock for me at the finish (
although the final horse ride at the end with Capon was bugged for me!!
) and loved pretty much all of it. Had the odd small bug and encountered the plague/Radzig bug and lost a couple of hours but nothing else major. Performance was really good after the memory fix posted in this thread. Settings were mixed with ultra on the ones that mattered down to medium on a couple where the visual impact wasn't noticeable.

I found myself settling into a role or roleplaying in this game more than any other I can remember. Maybe it was things like having to eat, rest and bath. I would have a daily routine for my character when able so waking up, eat from the pot or if I was feeling flush visit the local bakers, then visit the bath house. Even needing to read. Before settling down to bed getting out a book and increasing my reading skill. The great thing was this was all subtle, none of this having to eat every 5 minutes like many of the survival games. It was there and it needed attending to during the day but didn't impact enjoyment at all. I hope other games start incorporating it.

I really liked the combat. Was terrible at it at first but ended up really enjoying it. It would be nice if they could find a way of dealing with multiple enemies that didn't involve walking backwards for miles picking them off (for me anyway) but I guess 1 on 3 or 4 should be a bit of a mess. Archery could use some work.

Loved the forests and environments. Most realistic feeling I have encountered in a game.

No problem with the save system. Wish they would leave it as is.

Enjoyed the story and there were some great quests although not quite as good as some of the Witcher 3 quests. The monastery section was the only odd one. Seemed like a good idea but executed poorly but I felt I just wanted the best route through it rather than playing it as they intended. Will definitely give it more time in a second playthrough.

Wasn't too fussed about when it ended. At 30 odd pence per hour I don't have a problem giving them some more for the end. There were a couple of areas where I thought it was going to end before it did.

I wonder how many historically accurate(ish) RPG's we get over the coming years.

There's only a minute amount of Lumasharpen in my config. Weirdly when you look at my screenshots above (full size) they do look a bit over sharpened, but in game not at all. If you look at the vanilla screen shots full size they also look slightl y oversharpened too so not sure what's going on there.

Also, stating the obvious but the beauty of Reshade is, you can tweak stuff to your own personal taste. Don't like the sharpening? Turn it down, or off. The latest version of Reshade is really really tweakable to a minute scale it's great.

Thank you for awesome impressions. It really sounds like my dream game, I have wanted RPG that would feel really immersive like this for such a long time.
Even New Vegas with hardcore mod wasn't quite there, as great as it is.
