Kingdom Come: Deliverance / Open-World RPG / Medieval History

i think goty for me this is albeit i havent played much else. I think its well playable atm and i can live with the odd glitch or annoyance.

atm im a ******* knight (ppl call me sir knight etc so i am!) and i rock up with a meaty hammer weapon lol (dlc treasure yes its there and no you dont need to have the dlc maps) i love doing the LT on downed opponents and watching Henry go to work lol (different QT with each weapon). I am tempted to see if there is a blood and guts mod because i laugh maniacly everytime. One of the few games that has me thinking ahead for me second playthrough as a pure utter scummy ****.

Some of the fun as well is exploiting i guess.
I had a lot of fun running around a cow field punching them to raise str (1% every punch)

only up to the infiltrate cuman camp bit reckon im about 60 - 65% through.

The main storyline goes on for a lot longer than I thought given the reviews. I went for what I thought was the last mission, somewhat fearing that would be the 'end' (as in cannot continue to do other stuff in game) but nope, still got more of the main story left. I really hope the 'end' doesn't mean you can carry to do other stuff. So doing other side quests as and when I please.

51h in and only just cleared the cuman/bandit camp.

I plot my in game days, do some hunting and ranging then sleep, spend the next day buying, selling & training - have a nice bath, sleep, do a day getting repairs done and getting drunk, sleep, then do a side quest or main quest.

I get so much stuff some the ranging days that I need to spend a day sorting through the gear and going to Sassau to sell it all, very relaxing playing through it.

I always find they have more money than the other traders in Talmberg and Rattay.

The armour smith and weapons smith have especially deep pockets.

The more you trade with weapon and armour smiths, the more money they have next time you coming around. Think that goes for the Tailor as well, but not sure about normal traders though.
Only don't break in and steal their money in the middle of the night and expect them to have any cash the next morning :(

A couple of times I've gone in, bought a bunch of stuff (a few ks worth) and then exited and realised I wanted to sell some stuff, and the trader has had just a few hundred! Either they're very careful at budgeting or how much you spend with them on a given day makes no difference to the actual amount of cash they possess.

Came back to this this evening after about a week or so of not playing.

Played about an hour. Questions And Answers quest. That's that then. Game over for me. All objectives failed and no new quest....I don't know why I'm even surprised.

The captive is perfectly alive, but speaking to him fails the objective 'speak to the captive', and even attacking him gets guards to arrest you, even though villagers were trying to kill him hours earlier!

Downloaded and started this yesterday so can't really comment, looks really good but I'm a bit overwhelmed just now with new things to learn, in a good way though.

If you not already tried r_batchtype 1 I recommend giving it ago. Might depend on your GPU I use VEGA 64 and heard good feedback from this console command. While the frame rate might not stand out has a massive difference the overall game felt smoother.

Right, luckily I've been using the save mod, so I have a savegame just after starting Questions and Answers. I would really like to continue playing the game, but it is totally broken.

My question is, do you think there is any chance that this big patch might fix this quest even if you have started it?...and could it fix side quests that have already broken, like the nightingale one?

r_batchtype 1 is now the default setting since 1.3

Regarding the 1.3.4 hotfix that added ansel support:
nVidia engineers got access to our code they implemented it themselves with a very part-time-y support from exactly one of our coders.
Some info about patching process from warhorse designer

But I guess I should clarify the policies behind patches. The process of reballancing, improving, and fixing the game is planned around major patch versions that is 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4 and so on.
Whenever we discover a new serious bug introduced by the latest patch or whenever we deem some newly discovered/repro-ed bug too critical and at the same time trivial to fix or whenever there's some special request (like release of nVidia Ansel with start of GDC) a new "hotfix" patch is introduced. These are numbered as sub-versions of the last major patch. As you can see 1.3.4 is a fourth additional patch for 1.3.
1.4 has been finalized on Friday and is being tested. Hopefully releasing it by the end of this week.
1.5 is underway.
Both of these introduce new game-features, assets, and of course fixes. Usually between 200 and 300 issues are addressed with each major patch. One or two things are addressed with hotfixes.

Also, some good news. I have almost nothing to do for 1.5 which means at least from my POV the swamp of issues has almost been drained. Which is fortunate as I was assigned to work on something new. Coming soon.

4k? All ultra settings? On your gpu? your standards for frame rates must be very low indeed bud. You're probably getting about 20fps tops in many places.

What sort of FPS are you holding? I am playing 4k on just High with an overclocked 1080Ti and 8700k on my 4k TV and usually hold around the 50-55 FPS mark or so everywhere. Crank it up to very high and it drops into the high 30's - low 40's and Ultra kills FPS hard!

4k on a 390? 20fps??

Sorry for the late reply! I haven't even checked the FPS tbh, is there a console command?

So I have now got through the opening credits and to Rattay. I was hoping by now there would be news on 1.5 as I was sort of holding off. With the long weekend I fancied giving this a good go but would ideally like the patch first.

Can't find any news less than five days old on the subject, anyone know anything?

Doesn't anyone know if the bandit camps ever repopulate? Had an awesome fight when I first started the game with a group of 3 near Rattay and would love to re-do that with my slightly better character or even at night time!
