Kingdom Come: Deliverance / Open-World RPG / Medieval History

That's working, thanks Cobra.

Hey KCD friends, we are preparing a hotfix for the bugs in v1.4, which keeps you from progressing through Questions and Answers, Battle of Pribyslavice & the freezing in the barber shop. These fixes will be implemented into the 1.4 patch on consoles also. #kingdomcomedeliverance

Really think it will be best to completely uninstall it, leave it in development for few more months and then reinstall it from scratch (with new save and config files) after all the patches are out. That's my plan :)

Yeah, it might come to that, but I may well give it one more chance after this hotfix comes out. Hopefully quickly!

If it still doesn't work, I'll uninstall and wait a few more months.

I am in disbelief...IT'S ONLY BLOODY WORKING!

I've managed to complete two side quests that were broken, and even finally done the Questions and Answers quest after what seems like years being stuck on it!

I'm ten hours in so far and enjoying it. I shot a man in the face with an arrow because I wanted his trousers. This evening I'm going to find a matching shirt.

I am also ten hours in and am trying to wean myself away from my compulsion to pick every single flower or herb I pass! I now only pick them if there are at least six to pick in one swoop, I can clear a field in four lunges.

Not played this for a few weeks, been holding off for patches to properly start the story.

I've download the latest updates including the HD textures and sounds DLC. I honestly can't tell a difference in the textures in game. The textures DLC is definitely installed, have activated it in the game Video options and set textures to ultra high. Also, monitoring the GPU mem usage and it hasn't gone up at all. Stays at only around 3500MB max which is what it did before. I would expect it to raise somewhat (using 1080Ti at 3440x1440 btw)

In the video above you can see for example the table and beer mug being sharper with the texture pack.

I spoke too soon. One side quest not able to complete, and one fails for no reason today.

Edit- turns out the one that failed was a tusllt timed... Without any indication of it being timed, and no follow up to it. I'm actually more disappointed now I know that!

ffs restarted the game today with new patch and the quest when u get to ride out just after getting pebbles.. when i leave the castle my game crashes tried it 4 times now ffs

game was perfect and running nice until now :(

Actually, I am still getting quests fail for no reason. How sad. I was just doing a quest I was finding quite interesting. Got to the objective and spoke to the the person I needed to, then it came up with a new objective, immediately followed by saying I'd failed it.

On a brighter note though, I still find myself in awe sometimes of how good this game can look... And I'm only playing on mostly medium at 1920x1080!

Edit- timed quests in this game are so badly done it isn't funny.
