For a forum with lots of different types of geeks (let's face it - we all are of one kind or another - we're posting on an online overclocking forum), there's a lot of judgemental people on here. Ironic, heh.

Speak for yourself. I am the exception that proves the rule. ;)

I was thinking just that. People have hobbies... While those hobbies cause no one any sort of grief or problems, I don't care what their hobby is. LARP'ing isn't something I'd personally ever do, but live and let live, and all that...

I just find the whole thing hilarious. But then I see the odd hot larping momma dressed as some type of princess, and then it all just seems to make sense.

Shine on your crazy diamonds.

Oh wow... I didn't realise such a vast community was behind it!

I would like to go along to one just to see what the atmosphere is like, after all. It is a hobby. But you would never see me participating. I would feel like a royal ass.

They hurt my eyes.

That is just reason enough.

I'd rather have people dressed up as Zelda and Saruman running down my street than drunk chavs vandalising our property.

I wouldn't do it myself, but it's no more sad than someone working hundreds of hours on their car to make it look better or go faster.
