Lawnmower accident

That is absolutely tragic - my utmost wishes for her speedy rehabilitation, my thoughts with you and your family :(

I really hope your brothers okay, and the girl of course. Let us know how things go at the hospital.
 
I'm not sure who I feel most sorry for, your brother or his daughter. That's a terrible burden for both of them to bear.

Best wishes to everyone concerned on the long journey to recovery which lies ahead.

Good idea, getting all childish whenever a family member needs support always resovles things.
The fathers gonna be out of his mind and not a day in his life will go by where thats not gonna grind on him. Accidents happen, of course it could have been avoided, they all can but not talking to someone at which probably be the worst time in the guys life is beyond belief.

I hope the TTIUWP poster is a permaban job, thats pathetic in it's lowest form, really.
 
Thats awful, I know theres nothing i can say to make it better but i really hope you can all get through this trajedy in some way. You all need to eb there for both the father and the daughter, something so horrific is going to change the relationship between them and they need your support more than ever now.

Truly upsetting, I hope things turn out for the best for you and your family. Probably the most brutal thing I have ever heard on OCUK.

Its embarrassing to think that we have members capable of some of these responses. Just remember, they are in the minority.

Maybe the guy told them to stay inside and out of the way. Maybe they ran out to tell him something. Maybe he told them to go play well away from where he was mowing, but they were chasing a ball. There could be any number of reasons - we don't know the facts yet.

I'd permaban every last one of them.
 
These things happen with the thought in peoples minds that it will never happen to them, thats what accidents are, lack of thought and responsibility on ALL parties involved.

Could've Would've Should've doesnt help anyone, The father would never mean to hurt his child in this way, so to say that its his fault is disgusting. No-one meant for it to happen, so you cant blame anyone, and to do so when you dont know what happened is wrong.

I am sorry to hear about this tragedy, my thoughts will be with you and your family. :(

Even with the damage to her legs. I have no doubt that, from what you said about her she will still exceed expectations in whatever she chooses do . For an adult, the loss of a limb is seen as devastating and incapacitating , but to a child, it can be overcome a lot quicker in order to give them a chance to adapt. She has my best wishes from my family and I in a speedy revovery.
 
I'm so sorry, I'm welling up. I don't know what to say. Ignore the insensitive ***** that have posted, anyone with a shred of humanity is glad she's alive and sorry she's so badly hurt. Your brother is going to have to live with this every day he lives, that's punishment enough, whatever happened. Give your niece our love and support and if there's anything we can do, let us know.
 
Horible, really horrible. Couldn't imagine having a finger removed tbh, nevermind both legs.

If this is true, which I have serious doubts about, then you have my sincerest sympathy. however if this is not true, well I don't think I need to say it.
 
:( Tragic. Best of luck to everyone involved. Although none of you and your family, quite rightly so, will be looking to the future right now you can rest assured these days there is very little stopping her from going on to live a fulfilling life etc etc. I speak for everyone here with an ounce of maturity when i say our thoughts are with you and anything we can do. Take it easy.
