You should now have an invite holler if not. Re vent - download the client and just fire it up, it's fairly straight forward

Joined, downloaded and will look into it :)

Edit-Tested vent and it works (yay), just as a heads up guys for the vent port number in the group pages of Steams is different to the one on this threads first page (Steam one works of course) so you might want to update this thread.
Will install my mic 2moro after work and I'll be good to go!

(sorry to the two people who said hi, but I didn't have my mic to reply back lol)

We on the same Vent :) The Port number is 25148 and is correct - I don't think we published the vent info on Steam? The vent info for OCuK LoL players is the first post of this topic.
 
New changes to Ashe coming

Ashe Volley change: 7 arrows instead of 9.
Ashe Plentiful Bounty remake - Hawkshot / Spirit of the Hawk: Each time Ashe kills a unit, she gains some extra gold. Ashe can activate to send her Hawk Spirit on a scouting mission.

However more importantly - can someone translate what this means!!

* Critical chance and critical chance per level removed as a base stat. Gold value for these stats was pushed into base attack damage and attack speed per level, respectively. Average delta across all champions for these stats was +1.91 base attack damage and +.17% attack speed per level.

* New system for Armor/Magic Resistance Penetration implemented. All penetration is now percentage based and stacks with diminishing returns up to 50%. If a champion with 50% penetration attacks two targets that absorb 30% damage and 70% damage, they will only absorb 15% and 35% of the damage from the attack respectively.

* Brush on Twisted Treeline redesigned.

* The Reverse Law of Ninja Power has been changed to modify health, not damage

I went to Game and two Gamestations this morning before work to see if they had LoL in stock but none of them had it :( Both of their websites say it's out of stock too so I've bit the bullet and bought it on Steam!

I noticed the OcUK LoL group is invite only, any chance I could get an invite please? My steam ID is Kona (http://steamcommunity.com/id/kona)

This is gonna get confusing... :)

I was actually thinking about asking GOA/Riot to change my name to Barno anyway. Vertikill was just my name from Global Agenda so no real attachment.

Not had a game of LoL for a while, APB beta keeping me busy. Like the look of the new champs though. Will definitely be on this week.

Note even though you purchased it on steam and it will install from Steam you can still use your existing client as well. I keep both in tandem as it helps if one is being a pain - or I just want to tell people I am playing without telling them :)

It's not a common gamer name to be honest, your the first person to have a similar name that I've seen in ages. Great minds think alike and all that :)

I haven't actually used the Steam client yet - I suppose I should start using it to keep track of my playtime. Sneaky little tactic keeping the second copy installed to play when you don't want others to know your playing... I think I shall keep two copies installed too, it *may* come in handy saying the missus is one of my Steam friends.
 
Only had a chance for two games tonight; won one, lost one. The one we won was pretty epic though, could have went either way but we made a push and got it in the end :) Time for sleeps now, plenty more games tomorrow even I think!
