did anyone get 1500 bonus points yesterday? me and a few friends did, but some others didn't, shows up on the account as "customer refund".
some of us thought that it was a mistake, so we spent it on a new hero immediately lol :P
 
Am loving this, been playing for a while now and have to say for a free game its pretty damn good.

Favourites have to be Twisted Fate and Morgana, so far I am level 13 and have roughly 50:50 win to losses. Its great to see another free game that delivers. Out of interest are there any level 20's out there? and when you get there is there any more diverse maps?

Ohh i did, my points went from 400 to 2k after a single game, must admit I did wonder what was going on.

Currently the highest level is 30 and there's only 1 5v5 map and 1 3v3 map. Though they just announced new maps are incoming soon.
 
Is the match-making system really good to start with and only puts you against players who have only just started as well?

Played a fair bit of dota and I've only played about 5 games of LOL so far and haven't lost or looked like losing at all... Seems like most other players out there are tards or have I just been really lucky?

Interesting really looking forward to some new maps, a big 7v7 or similar would be good. Currently I am spending a fair amount of time on 5v5. Last night for the first time our team went nuts on a massive monster which gave us some kind of buff and to be fair we spanked the enemy in about 15 mins. Some games I seem to do really well with Morgana, take last night for example 20/4/26 was my best game.

However the game before that I was up against Ashe in the middle and she outranged me and to be fair took me out of the game early on. :(

The match making system will put you against people of a similar level, later on, say level 5-10 things start heating up and you will find that some games you just get abused :(
 
just played a solo "matchmaking" game.....we won, thankfully we had one other teammate who was decent. added him to friends after, and he turned out to be level 30, (im level 12 at the moment).....:rolleyes:

so much for matchmaking similar levels.......

The matchmaking can be awful at times. The problem stems from mixing premade teams with solo players. You have no choice who you play with/against.

If 4 level 30s team up with a level 10 and enter the queue, the other team will probably include 4 high level players and then drag in a low level solo player to even the teams.
Happens the other way too, 4 low level players on each team and 1 level 30 to dominate the game.

Tis true, it's not 100% but remember... it is free, I don't know about you but free is a word I like very much :)

Problem with live games is that you cannot pause them for 30 mins to change nappies or or cook food.

Once again, for everyone looking for the mumble server info/pass. Friend me "mcknight27" or "talsworthy" in-game and actually talk to us and we'll throw it at you no problem. What we won't do is post it willy nilly on the board for all to see :D

Been playing this a few weeks and still love it :) I normally play Tristana or Morgana depending what the team needs really. Love Tristana as she is easy to play and I don't need to keep my eye on mana/cooldowns so much haha.

Don't die too much with her as she is great as escaping and obviously I have heal/ghost as my spells as I'm still a new player. Only problem with her is she is definitely a one-trick-pony and pretty easy to suss out.

My ingame name is Sksy please feel free to add me, I'm on most nights for a couple.

Hey tals, Yep post count is small but i've been lurking for a good few years and was part of the ocuk guildwars crew 5 years back.

Just looking for some fun games, always better with comms :)

Are you able to set up a trust account on OCUK - or buzz me through trust and I can set you up. Alternatively grab myself, mcknight or one of the other regulars in game. The community is building up nicely so i've just got a little more protective about the password. We do like to win and aim to win but if we loose it's not the end of the world :)
 
erm guys,.....i think riot or whoever is responsible for IP points etc made another doo doo. I just now received ANOTHER 1500 "customer refund" bonus after my first win of the day just now. Before my game, i had 1800, now i have 3200 or so. Right, now to spend it as soon as possible.....what to buy..........:P
