That wasn't the point being made though was it, all I'm agreeing with is that the community is terrible in general compared to other games I've played. I can still enjoy the game and play it yes but that's not what I was agreeing/disagreeing with. They simply don't do enough to ban the toxic kids who infect the game on their multiple accounts. Just because it's avoidable doesn't make it okay.

Ah ok, I see where you are coming from.

Things have improved lately, and a lot of trolls have been banned from the game by Riot. And I understand that they aren't regimented in getting riding of toxic players, but they have improved a helluva lot.

I guess people become toxic because games usually take a fair amount of time and no one wants to lose so they hide behind the internet and anonymity. However they'd act differently if they were in the same room as you.

The only way for people who do get annoyed by flammers and trolls in LoL is to mute and report. Thats all you can do and if thats not good enough then consider playing a different MOBA.

I guess it's part and parcel of free to play games. I notice similar things with free weekends on steam for multiplayer games. There's no repercussion really if you lose your account as they clearly don't care about being banned. There's usually at least 1 smurf a game in unranked but this is pretty much impossible to prevent without matching IP's or hardware ID's to other accounts.

It's by far the best MOBA out there and I really enjoy games with skill progression I just wish people would behave a little better and help people progress instead of trying to make them quit.

Don't get me wrong, I like the game, but dota is much better. LoL is really not the best moba out there, its just easier to get into.

You're probably right regarding it has probably something to do with it being free to play. I would imagine that if it was subbed based people probably wouldn't react as bad especially if it meant a ban.

And regarding DOTA....it's certainly a lot harder and more of a complex game than LoL
