I have to keep on putting quids in to get electricity, when the flat was for Holidays instead of a short hold tenency the owner would put a padlock on the fuse box to stop you from using the same quid over and over.
Im guessing once the quids run out on the timer the fridge stays on as it needs too.

As far as im aware a standard filament bulb doesnt draw any extra power when turned on. Flourescent tubes however do, i believe it is more efficient to turn it off if you aren't going to be turning it on again within the next 30 mins ish.digisatman said:anyone know what the deal is with light bulbs, is it better to keep on switching it off when i leave the room, or does it use less electricity if i keep it on.
