Leeds United Association Football Club Takeover

Absolutely ridiculous, just need to either drag it out as long as possible to avoid anything actually changing, or what's to stop him from handing his son control and say "Fine I'm not in charge, he is"?

Hes not allowed to be affiliated with the club in any way what so ever. His son would be deemed a conflict to that rule and the league would ban it, you'd think that the FA chairman would have sympathy seeing as though he used to be Bates sidekick.

The Leeds United comedy roadshow begins again for yet another winter extravaganza!

I do worry about that fans group actually having the financial clout to be owners, but to be honest even if they were intermediary owners while looking for a viable and non-crazy new rich owner to takeover i guess i'd be pretty pleased. Anything to stop that crazy italian **** wit from destroying more from the soul of our club.

Now's the time to find out if those red bull rumors were actually true :p

I have some sympathy, I mean, it is not nice for any club to be owned and ran in this manner by such a dubious character.

However;

Just listened to the Cellino interview. Excellent I support him even more.

Posts like this, lol.

Cellino was awful before, and has continued to be awful. What did Leeds fans expect?

You don't know what to expect really when a foreigner takes over your club, he was at Calgari for 19 years, he didn't come here to make quick buck, he said all the right things and got the fans on his side but then it all got a bit ridiculous, and like a lot of things in football, in hindsight he was the wrong man to take us anywhere.

It's gone Bates, GFH, Cellino...it can't actually get worse. Can it?

There were a lot of people saying that Cellino was bat **** mental before he took over, that he would be more trouble than he is worth, but ignored as Leeds fans wanted to think this would be a good move.

I find it more amazing that the FA allow such dubious characters to buyout football clubs, seemingly with no issue.

Did you listen to the interview?

What has that got to do with anything?

People do not tell the truth, people say whatever they can to get people on board.

Cellino was trouble in Italy, and has been nothing but trouble and an embarrassment in England.

Apart from the managerial decisions we've actually spent money at least this season, Bates and GFH brought in the likes of Tonge, Varney and Norris, whereas Cellino did actually invest in the team. The foundations are there team wise, we just need a good manager and backing to lead the team forward now. What Cellino has done isn't all to waste despite the poor league position.

Leeds needed Redfern (spelling) to stay, and be given time and some money. He left for a reason.

Well he was sacked. Redfearn I don't think would have ever got us up, he's a brilliant youth coach. We need someone who's experienced in getting teams out of the league (not Warnock).

Yeah, whether people like him or not, Steve Evans has got teams up before.

Crawley Town
Conference Premier: 2010-11
Football League Two: promotion 2011-12

Rotherham United
