Leeds United Association Football Club Takeover

GFH are said to have a multi million pound investor lined up to help buy back Elland road and Thorpe Arch, or should that be Elland 'Red Bull' road...

Strongest rumours abounding are that it isn't Red Bull, not that I'd be against Red Bull buying us Elland Road back and buying the naming rights with it.

Elland Road will always be Elland Road.

Same. I don't care what they call the ground as it will always be Elland Road to the fans. There was a rumour it could be a Chinese investor that was interested before but Bates annoyed and he disappeared.

Rumours this morning are that it is a Saudi Prince, not sure if people are just clutching at straws now to the indentity though.

It will be a good atmosphere at the game tomorrow now that Bates has gone and lots of positive things happening, it will be just under a sell out. Not sure how many Brighton are bringing though.

This take over is turning into a disaster....loans are being taken out to pay wages apparently. Cellino doesn't have any interest in the club or supporters if he buys the club.

Not good..

A chance to rebuild, gain stability and move forwards has been given a swift kick in the balls and fallen over in pain. :(

GFH need to get their fingers out, ignore this italian idiot and just agree a deal with sports capital ASAP!

We had over 20000 last night. Surely we can just have a nice sensible owner/board and money in equals money out and we can own the ground/training ground.

McDermott has just been sacked according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.

^ My opinion appears to be not forum friendly. So unfriendly that even the spaces are swearing! >_<

I hope I am wrong, but this could be the beginning of some bad times at Leeds. Looks like the Italian has started his tenure. I am not there tomorrow but my dad will be so lets see what happens.
