You're suggesting that these immigrants are living a better life than most, so maybe if the BF lot went to work instead of knocking doors in a hotel they could also live in the luxury that is claimed the immigrants are living in.
They had to be put somewhere right, so is it not better that somewhere is found so their claims for asylum can be processed accordingly rather than released into the streets? Or is the problem that they are not being locked up in cells/cages instead? Because most are.

Boats full of military aged men being escorted from France to the UK by the French navy. This soon stopped when it was brought to light and now they are not even being escored by the French navy....
They are coming in at a rate of 500+ a day...…
Oh and when they get here they are being put up in expensive hotels at the tax payers expense while they wait for a house, lmao, cant make this up.
Yes I'm angry, our forefathers fought and died to protect the English way of life, to ensure their kids and grandkids have a future, now its all been sold out from under them and is being given away to people who hate the west and want us dead.
Im native English, I cant get council housing as fast as these 3rd world immigrants.

I think most people would agree that they should be put somewhere that they can afford to pay for.
I'm pretty sure that if I tried to illegally enter any country in the world and just happened to lose my passport on the way and tgen decide to claim asylum - I wouldnt get 4* treatment...

They most certainly should be locked up just the same as if they had stowed away on an aircraft. Just because they manage to invade via the sea they are just as much illegals as if they forged their documents and came by air. They need secure facilities to keep them until they can be processed and in the majority of probable cases, sent back. If the law does not facilitate this, then it needs rapidly changing.

You would think that you had some compassion for foreigners. These people have went through hell to get here.
If this was 200 years ago and people were coming here nobody would have batted an eyelid.
Personally I'm of the opinion that anyone should be allowed to come here who has a fairly clean criminal record.
As in no rapists, murderers, etc the bad ones.
If someone has a minor record, quite small stuff then they should be properly interviewed and psych evaluated before any decision is made. Stopping them for petty stuff would be harsh when we already have plenty of hardened criminals here.
As for spending money on them. Do you know that the British Empire stole £45 trillion from India alone?
India had the third biggest economy in the world or 1/3rd total of the world's economy alone before the British empire destroyed it and stole all the wealth. And Britain only accounted for like 3% of the world's trade at the time.
Do you think that stolen money should be given back? After all Britain did massacre tens of millions of Indian lives in the process. As a result many millions more have no likley died from the knock on effects.
That's what was promised, and the government has successfully convinced people that a few people coming over on boats is the source of our ills.
