Considering how lowly those two are rated... that's just harsh

He is the 2nd or 3rd highest goal scorer in the EPL over the last few season just behind Drogba I think they said.
Not sure how you can say that is over rated? Plus no one seems to talk about him in the same light as the others?
Over rated surely means people who get loads of praise for nothing, I don't see anyone mention Bent to often.
Casillas I think is quite possibly over rated, didn't have a great world cup and doesn't always seem to be that amazing in goal yet considered one of the best?
Rooney quite probably is as well but then again hes English so seems to be praised just for that.
Ibra seems good in the league but awful in the CL so tit for tat I suppose, flashes of brilliance followed by going missing :/
Micheal bloody Barry without a doubt, remember all that rubbish before the world cup how we need him fit its a race against time etc.. like we were pinning our WC on some super star. He's about as quick as a 3 legged asthmatic donkey which got shown up time and time again in the WC.

Shouldn't be stupid enough to be posting in this thread, but iv'e made reference to it before, so i'll throw shearer back in to the mix.
Just my personal opinion having seen him play many times in the flesh and more so on the screen.
The pin up guy of a generation in england, loved by nearly all, media, fans, the goals, bottle and heart player.
The world class he was often lauded as? for me not a touch on the truer class of the bergkamps, batistuta's, christian vieri 's of the game in the simular style of goal getting players.
Those guys could produce the magic against the very best when the chips were down, shearer nearly allways got snuffed out by the great defenders of the time.
Thats just my opinion, i could just have listed all the good things he did and painted a very different view. Good, maybe great... just not for me.

Dani Alves by an absolute mile.
He runs down the flank and has ZERO end product. Barca keep the ball perfectly and then they give it him who usualy loses it and then they get counter attacked from his flank because hes breathing out of his arse with stitch

Have to agree with this in the last couple of years we seem to be forever waiting for him to hit form, there's no point in having talent if you don't use it.

Wasn't it his pass to Iniesta which allowed Spain to score the winner in the WC? He changes games when he comes on, pretty sure he changed a few games in Euro 2008, plus you don't hear as much about him as you do about Xavi, Iniesta et al.
Lennon is overrated imo.
