You're talking about Currys right? I was super vigilant in signing up for the stock alerts on this monitor with multiple email accounts. I knew it was going to be in stock on the 7th June today, but you're telling me they put it up early and sent me exactly 0 notifications?!
Their alerts are as good as useless. Quite annoyed with them tbh.
How did you know they would be up for sale today?
I'm fuming. Been watching and waiting for this monitor for months. About a month ago, you could go onto the currys website and it had a message saying they would be in stock June 7th. That message was removed from the page I'm guessing around 2 weeks prior to release for unknown reasons.
I saw that and thought it said 1st June initially.
Anyway, just gonna pray and hope for OC stock.
Afaik it was 7th of June for quite a while, then the 1st, then the 31st and then dropped.
I didn't get an email alert but checked after midnight most evenings since the 28th in the hope it dropped. From what i saw this morning it appeared soon after midnight as available but caused an error when trying to add to the basket, a few hours later it worked and checked out. It was still available til at least 5am when i went to sleep. Checked at 9 this morning and oos.
I do wonder if this will ship ok or if it possibly oversold. My order was at just after 3am and due for tomorrow so i guess i'll find out soon enough!

Was thinking gives me some time to explain to the other half why I need a second monitor (3rd but will try and sell the dell 2716dg).

I went with the cheapskate option, Free delivery, 3-5 days, so earliest for me is Wednesday, latest Friday, my order states it's due by Friday 11th
Got mine ordered just before 1am, been hitting the F5 key for days, about every 10-30 minutes.
Ah, i went for next day because of the free code on the product page!
Well done at the order time! I tried but failed and even trying various postcodes of friends just in case it wasn't available to certain areas (sometimes happens with rainforest orders).
I'm hoping the fact it was available for a few hours means they have the stock to cover the orders, well at least all those before say 3:20am

I would have used that free next day code offer but i overlooked it, I was in a rush to get my order in as soon as possible after having seen how fast the LG 27GN950 sold out when that was released.

Madness how they were not prepared and had very small stock tbh (LG I mean)
Apparently the retailers think announcing when stock will come in favours scalpers, that makes no sense to me given some use bots. I think its the other way round, but I expect that may be the reason they removed the date.
All the built in notify me services are of no use in my opinion, they seem to be designed to only alert when stock in is in place for a good amount of hours and as such are bad for sporadic availability.
e.g. I had notify me for 'very' ps5, it never alerted me even though I managed to buy one.

There was a free next day delivery code on their app when buying it. I snagged 1 at 4am as my little boy woke me up to get him some water- what a star- if it wasn't for him I would have missed it as I randomly checked the wishlist on the spicy app around 4am.
You could always ring Customer Service and ask them to refund the fiver?
