Probably right, very poor for a major manufacturer getting stock out

Thats probably it for another month unless you count Overclockers who'll get stock in by the end of the month...

Mine arrived and so far so good :)

Waiting for it to fully warm up so i can calibrate it but a quick initial summary:
  • Looks great
  • Leds can be switched off
  • Menu actually not too bad and easy to navigate
  • 144Hz in Windows / Gaming no issues (not tried overclocking yet)
  • SDR / HDR in Windows / Games seems fine
  • HDMI and DP cable supplied are short imo (around 1m i reckon)
  • Power supply cable is a clover / mickey mouse style
  • Power brick to actual monitor lead could be longer but a minor gripe
  • Vesa mount sunken on monitor so longer m4 screws needed for my arm vs the supplied one's (not unboxed stand, won't be using it)

My monitor is coming today from Spicey. Will it have a Displayport cable in the box? I will want to use DP right? I'm running a 3090 Rog strix OC and a 5950x.

lg site says it has a usb, hdmi 2.1 and dp cable

I'll tell you for sure in a sec as mine literally just got here :D :D :D
 
I'm getting a little worried with my order, though i ordered it before 1am, i got my receipt from spicey universe and paypal at 00:50am shortly after i hit the buy button, confirming my order and of it being paided, but no funds have been taken from my bank and no pending transaction as of yet, here hoping my bank is just slow to update my account, i should be given a tracking number sometime today, as it should arrive at the earliest tomorrow but by Friday 11th.

I have some bad news for you. I bought it on their eb*y store. They took the money. I chased it yesterday afternoon then late last night I got a alert from the courier saying they are coming today. I checked and he is due soon with it. Earlier this morning though, Currys e-mailed to say I wouldn't get it as they oversold them and are requesting more stock. Luckily for me mine had already been dispatched but I think you may have an issue

first impressions
well packed
cables look of good build quality (most interested in the hdmi 2.1 cable as I'm going from a cable matters usb-c to hdmi adapter from my m1 mac, pc 3090 is going on displayport)
stand is fine, not too over the top, personal taste I guess
dislike the design at rear, bit too gamerish but it's fine, I don't have to look at it
hdmi and displayport cables are pretty much dead on 1.5m
interesting setup on the base of the monitor for the display controls with the wheel
one note: the side of the box has an arrow showing 'front', open the packaging with the arrow pointing to the floor, this'll save you dumping the contents of the stand, foot, cables into the empty box. Lucky mine detached from the polystyrene and didn't fall.

Thanks for sharing pics! Looks nice. I’ve got my preorder in with OC so now have to be patient. Just curious how Spicy got their stock before OC when they were both meant to be the two launch retailers.

My receipt show that my order has been prepped for delivery and will arrive by Friday 11th, sometimes my bank can take a couple of days before online payment orders shows up on my account and i'm hoping that the case.

I changed my order from OC and ordered from different retailer and it arrived today
