LG 34GK950G, 3440x1440, G-Sync, 120Hz

@Baddass said more likely in the evening, so can be also at 8pm.

Ack! 8pm ??
I thought you Europeans stop work after 3pm..?? jk
Not even sure why I care when the review comes out. It isn’t like I can go out and buy the monitor.

I’m really curious on how the “real world” differences between the G and F will look.

"confirmation of UK expected retail prices"... confirmation of an expectation... this is not a confirmation of retail price, though I'm sure it's actually correct.

£1100... feeling a bit better about picking up the Alienware for £615, even though I expect the LG monitor to be superior.

For me at lesst £615 is an amazing price. What are your thoughts on the Dell?

Badass also said "with a bit of luck" it would be finished today. Just let the man work and let it come when it comes.(Hopefully today) :)

The review has now been delayed. By 10 seconds while I reply on here :p

I’d said this evening for completion and still on track. Watch TFTCentral twitter or here and I’ll post as soon as it’s up. F review only. G to follow soon.

I've had it for a few months now and I really like it, but I may be blissfully ignorant, because I've moved from a 23" 60Hz TN Dell monitor that I've had for years... calibration may not be perfect, and the LG might be better... but I may never know! However, with the £600 difference I could also buy a 1080Ti... that quickly puts things into perspective. Right now though, my 1070 is doing a good job.

Build is solid. There is a bit of glow from both bottom corners, but I think some glow is to be expected, but I only see it when testing with a black screen, never with content on screen. Monitor movement up/down, tilt, etc is very good, though a bit stiff (but means it stays put after adjusting). The stand looks big, but it actually fits on my desk quite nicely, so better than expected.

Ok. It’s like 7pm over there. I just KNEW we shouldn’t have said anything. Now the review is delayed by 10 secs. Oh god! It may have just gone up in the 10 secs it took me to type this !! Sorry gotta run to refresh tftcentral...

i don't think anyone should have expected drastic changes from one generation to another, but there are significant changes in terms of colour space coverage, which was always advertised and promoted as the main change. Also some slight improvements to black content IP glow, and don't forget significant upgrade in refresh rate support from previous 100Hz generations to new 144Hz

Great review as always. It's a shame the pixel speed isn't up to par with the fastest IPS like the PG27UQ.

it does seem AUO have done a better job driving response times of their IPS tech than LG.Display have so far.
