They did? I know LG Display said 42" panels were entering production, and there was talk of 30" pro monitor, which is rumoured to be only 60Hz.Good point really, LG electronics has said they will be releasing a 42" and 30" OLED gaming panel this year, am guessing its going to attempt to sit in the Gamer market and have a crazy high price tag also though, no one else has announced one yet.
I think those 2 sizes are pretty good and what everyone initially thought and said why 48"? its too big, 42" and 30" covers most.
Any source for the 30" gaming OLED display?
e:
So the one concrete announcement is a 60hz monitor.LG’s 2021 UltraFine display will use an OLED panel (developed by JOLED) and be dubbed as ‘LG 32EP950.’
The 31.5″ panel features 4K UHD resolution, 60Hz, and a wide 99% DCI-P3 + 99% Adobe RGB color gamut. It will also support HDR and have VESA’s DisplayHDR 400 True Black certification.
Hmm not sure that last part refers to 2021 tho. I wouldn't bet on it.LG Display is planning to apply its advanced next-generation OLED technology to high-end TV models that will be launched this year and gradually expand its adoption. In addition, the company is set to strengthen its lineup by producing 83-inch and 42-inch OLED TV displays starting this year, adding to the existing 88-inch, 77-inch, 65-inch, 55-inch, and 48-inch OLED TV displays. It also plans to significantly expand its mid-range TV display lineup down to the 20-30-inch range, enhancing not only TV, but also gaming, mobility, and personal display options.
